Extremely positive experience with Arthur and his flooring team. Excellent communication, very attentive to detail, prompt and stands by his work. This is the second time I have used his services and will use again in the future. Cost is very competitive, and has relationships with major flooring warehouses in Chicago area for better pricing. My floors are beautiful! I had engineered hardwood acacia installed as well as Coretec Plus HD, LVT.
Review: I reserved to have my daugher's birthday party at the Painted Potter. Everything went well. They told me that my pottery would be ready in 2 to 3 weeks. Another mom went there and they ended up giving her pottery piece to her eventhough they told me that I was the only one allowed to pick up the pottery pieces. I went there a few days later and the workers told me they didn't understand why the owner gave the mom her piece when that's not their rule. From my order, I was missing two pieces plus a complimentary plate they made for my daughter. On Saturday (the first day) they told me that the pieces were in the oven and they would be ready tomorrow (Sunday). They told me they would call me and let me know. I didn't receive a phone call so I called them Saunday late afternoon and they said it was still in the oven and would be ready later that afternoon. They once again said they would call me back. Never got a phone call back. They are closed Monday so I called them first thing Tuesday morning. The lady that answered said they couldn't find my two pieces and she would have to do inventory this morning and call me back later this afternoon. First, they gave a piece to a mother when they were not supposed to. Second, they lied to me and said it was in the oven when it wasn't. Third, they didn't keep my whole order together so it would be ready at the sametime. Now I have two little girls who don't have their pottery pieces. They keep on saying they will call me back but don't. I keep on having to call them and remind them about my two pieces that are missing. I asked the girl to have the owner call me ASAP as I needed to take care of this today and figure out what's going on. The girl on the phone told me that the owner has a full time job and she would have to call me when she has time. Their customer service is horrible and they can't keep their pieces together for birthday parties.Desired Settlement: The owner needs to call me ASAP and explain why all my pieces are not ready at the sametime. She needs to explain why her staff keeps on telling me different things when I call and keep on changing their story to fit them. And she needs to explain why she personally gave one of the pieces to a mother when I was told the pieces are only to be picked up by me. She needs to do something to make it up to the two girls who don't have their piece yet because of her mismanagement.
After submitting this complaint, I called the Painted Potter and spoke to the manager. She told me that she was doing inventory this morning and would look for my two potter pieces and would call me later in the afternoon with this result. I did no receive a phone call from the manager so I called them back around 5:45. Another staff member said that the manager told them to look for the 2 missing potter pieces since they were bagging party potter pieces. The staff member said they hadn't found it yet but when they do they would call me. I told her that I had already emailed the owner and that I had left many messages about this situation with my name and phone number and they should already have it.
