Her first complaint is untrue She was notified in writing by her HOA in feb about the wood repair and did not respond, she also did not respond to other attempts I made to contact her in March I was only able to contact her after a neighbor provided me her phone numberI provided
her a detailed estimate as well as the attached pdf files with photos of her home with the boards needing to be replaced marked in red When she moved back into the home she accused my company of breaking a window that according to her was directly next to one of the boards we replaced She also refused to pay for the work until I compensated her for the window After talking with my crew I became aware that she had numerous other contractors working on her home at the same time and I asked her why she felt it was my company that broke the window She told me it was because we were the only company doing ext work This was the second time she was not honest, the window was not next to any of the boards we replaced and it was a double pane window and the broken pane was the interior one Next she decided to dump a large amount of her moving debris in our company dumpster even though all owners were made aware in writing not to do so She also had the contractors she hired dump their debris in our dumpster and when one of them was asked to stop by my foreman he refused and told my foreman that he was instructed to use our dumpster by *** ***As for my foreman laughing at her and "retaliating", that is simply not true ** *** paid us for the wood repair and her window complaint was proven and she had no problem with the quality of the work She asked to additional boards to be repaired and it is true that one of my employees made a mistake, however my foreman was not on site (he was away purchasing the other board to be replaced) and he was not given a chance to complete the work and follow our company's protocols which would have caught the mistake and corrected it Instead ** *** chose to involve a 3rd party (and from what I understand) unlicensed handyman/contractor in start interfering with my crew and also called me telling me "i better come out the right now" She did not even bother to call me to inform me she was unhappy with the work It was at this point I decided to end the working relationship with ** *** and offered her a full refund of her $and she received that refund in less than weeks As for the power washing and painting of her unit, that contract is with the HOA and she is not involved in that I have copies of her threatening texts and emails and can provide copies to you if necessary.Brian G***
