Review: On July **, **15 I parked my car at The Parking Place parking garage near JFK airport. Upon my return on August *, **15 I noticed that my car had some damages to the rear bumper on the driver side. After speaking with an employee at the garage I was informed that I would need to speak with the manager, but he was not at the garage at that time. I was told to call back the next day and speak with the manager. On August *, **15, I went to an auto body shop and obtained a written estimate of $728 to repair the damages sustained on my vehicle. After speaking with the manager (Tony) on Aug *, **15 he informed me to call him back on Monday, Aug **, **15 since he wanted to review the footage from the surveillance camera. Upon my return call to him on Aug **, **15 he informed me that he will be send me a check for the damages in the amount of $728.On Aug **, **15, after still not having received the check, I called Tony again and he said that I should call him back on Thursday Aug **, **15 and he will let me know what time on Friday Aug **, **15 I can stop by the garage to pick up the check. I called Tony on Aug **, **15 and he said I should call him back on Aug **, 2015 at 8am.When I called Tony on Aug **, 2015 he informed me that he was not at the garage at the time and he will call me later with a time of when I can meet him. He informed me that he was on Long Island building a restaurant and was unsure as to what time he would be back at the garage.I did not hear back from Tony since then. I have since sent him a text and called him several times but was unsuccessful in reaching him.I am very disappointed, to say the least, that this garage has not reimbursed me for the damages that THEY incurred on my vehicle.Desired Settlement: Send me a check for $728.

Review: My car was damaged at this parking facility and the owner refuses to return any of my calls to get the problem fixed. I have called several times and I am constantly told that the owner is out of the office. I have also gone by the establishment to be told the same thing.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my car repaired since they are the ones that caused the damage.

Review: Parked my carat the lot came home from my vacation and my car was smashed up. To make matters worse Im on vacation and I get a text that they have moved my car from [redacted] to this [redacted] . [redacted] begged me not to file a police report and he would pay me. Still no check for the damages and now he is ignoring me.Phone number he gave me ###-###-#### and ###-###-####.After searching the internet it seems this guy changes and moves his business frequentely.Desired Settlement: Payment for car damages

Review: I parked my mini cooper s at the parking place on 4/**/2015. I arrived back there on 4/**/2015 at 8pm to pick it up. At that time I did not notice damage to my car because it was dark. The next day I noticed 7 "dings" on my bumper that were not there before. I called several times with this complaint with no resolution. finally I spoke to someone who may be the [redacted], that he thinks I am scamming him. This is so inappropriate of a business [redacted]. I was shocked. I said, no I am not scamming you. He said, well, bring your car in, I have a body shop. I said, that is very inconvenient since I live in NJ. He said, than get an estimate. Which I did, at an auto body shop in N.J. for $806.00. I have emailed the estimate, called several times. They are avoiding my calls and not returning them. This is where I am now, still waiting for them to receive my calls and return my call, and make a payment for repair.Desired Settlement: not refund for parking, but repair of my vehicle that has been damaged. They say they have pictures of my car when it came in. but have not produced these pictures.

Review: I booked my honeymoon to Greece and was flying out of JFK, NY Airport. I looked online and found [redacted] which offered great prices to pay to park your car in a lot separated from the airport yet provided a shuttle to take you to and from the airport. I am an avid traveler (usually travelling out of Newark, NJ) and have stayed at these lots [redacted]) numerous times before and been very happy. Unfortunately, this time it was different! I looked on [redacted] and read numerous reviews of how fabulous "The Parking Place" was and therefore, I prepaid and booked my stay online through way.com.

I dropped my car off on 8/*/15 went to Greece and returned with my husband on 8/**/15. I am meticulous with my white, leased BMW and have her always spotless and clean! When I returned to the lot on 8/**/15 my car was waiting for me filthy inside and damaged outside. My car was left at [redacted]. My car had been driven for the 10 straight days that I was away and I knew it! Here is my proof:

• I filled my gas tank the night before I left for the airport. I had almost a full tank when I left it at the lot. When I picked up my car it was below 1/4 tank of gas.

• When my car was left at the place there was no damage to my car as seen on the picture yet upon returning “the worker” who “stole” my car all 10 days had added a scratch in the picture of my car to my left, rear bumper. The girl who worked at the front desk, Amaylia, confirmed that if my car had previous damage she has people initial they area on the car picture where the damage is located and I had none.

• My back bumper and tire area had a lot of damage.

• My coupons and receipts in both front doors and center console had been sifted through and were thrown in my trunk in a mess.

• 2 pairs of my expensive Ray Ban sunglasses were missing from the center console.

• All four water bottles in the trunk of my car were drank and left empty on the back seat floor of my car.

• My mileage was significantly higher (I know this because I had my car serviced at BMW a week prior to my honeymoon and my mileage was significantly higher than what it was a week earlier and I had not driven much that week.

• All 4 floor mats in my car were filthy (no one is EVER in my back seat to dirty the floor mats besides it had just been cleaned).

• Someone smoked in my car. It smelled terribly of smoke and there was a smoke/soot layer on the front, driver windshield that you could literally wipe off with a cloth in order to see out.

• There was a NYC meter parking receipt found on my dash board from 3:25pm - 3:40pm on August [redacted] machine #[redacted].

• There was a NYC meter parking receipt found on my dash board from 5:22pm - 6:22pm on August [redacted] machine #[redacted].

• There was a $35 NYC Parking ticket left for me to pay! From August [redacted] 5:20pm on [redacted].

• There was a [redacted] receipt found in my car in the cup holder from 9:14pm August [redacted] on [redacted].

• There was food all over my center console, cup holders, door handles, floor and emergency brake area (I would NEVER eat in my car).

• There was all sticky stuff in my cup holders (I don’t drink anything other than water ever in my car).

• My earring broke on the way to the Parking Place and I stuck the earring in the change holder in front, I later found my earring laying on the back floor mat??? I can’t explain that!

• There were green, broken sunglasses (these were not mine) on the floor.

• Empty gum wrappers on the floor.

• The back, left, rear taillight had popped out and is hanging. I need to get estimate for this.

• When I called [redacted] they had tagged my car going over the GW Bridge 2 times while I was away ([redacted] $11.75)([redacted] $11.75) in Greece and one time it was tagged going through a toll on the NJ State Thruway (August [redacted] $1.50)!!!!!

When I left my car at the lot the paper I filled out said that… “[redacted]”. I was rushing to check in for my international flight but said “wait…the [redacted] or Parking Place website never said anything about moving my car to a separate location!?” The woman at the desk who took my keys, Amalyia, said that since I was extended stay of 10 days they had to move my car to a bigger lot to hold it. I didn’t feel comfortable about this but had no option. I had already prepaid on [redacted] and I had to catch a flight. I asked where and how far the lot was and the woman informed me that it was on the end of the same street. Apparently, when the cops came ten days later to meet me at the lot and assess the damage, the employees were telling the cops that they have a lot of parking lots and sometimes they park cars on the city streets. I would NEVER have left my car if I know they were driving it to other areas other than [redacted]!!!!!! I also found an article, since the incident, on the internet how they were in violation for leaving cars with windows open and valuables in them in Staples parking lots and on side-roads, blocking peoples driveways!

I filed a police report while I was at the lot upon returning from my honeymoon. The officer was Officer Rabie. Police Report #[redacted]. Contact [redacted] # ###-###-#### press option 0

I took my car in the next day to get two estimates because I was told from the people who worked there that they would send me a check “for the cheapest estimate” as soon as I sent them a few estimates. I wanted it fixed by BMW since it’s leased but I got a slightly lower estimate from Art Auto Body and therefore, complied and sent this estimate to some guy “Tony” who yelled at me on the phone saying the only thing he would reimburse me for was damage and interior detail because he knew it was filthy inside. He yelled at me when I brought up other points on this bulleted list and asked him for a refund of $123.36 for staying at the lot saying that he watched my car for ten days on his lot and that he and his wife drive Maserati’s and no one likes “piece of [redacted] BMW’s. I am not quite sure what his car has to do with mine but you can see that he was not very nice. He put me off for three weeks after I sent him the estimate to fix my bumper for $862.12 (art Auto Body) & interior cleaning for $75 (Jo-Jos Auto Detailing). The first week, Tony told me that the girl who writes the checks on Friday and handles billing must’ve been out and that was why the check didn’t come. The next week, the check didn’t come because Tony’s mom died and he, Tony, the owner couldn’t sign it. The third week, Tony told me he’s the manager and that he couldn’t send out the check because his boss, the owner (who he refused to tell me the name of or his own last name) was away on vacation and couldn’t sign the check. I called Tony from numerous numbers and every time he answered and then heard my voice and would yell “bad connection” or I’m in a meeting” and hang up on me.

I keep calling and now they are telling me that Navid is the new owner. I threatened not only a lawsuit since I have been talking with a lawyer but also I have a connection at a major news network and they are just waiting on me to run the story with a private investigator. I will not let this happen to anyone else while they are away enjoying a vacation as I was! When Navid heard my message he called me back and said he bought the business from Tony but that Tony never had a last name and that the business is now called “[redacted]”. I have done my research and I know they didn’t sell the business they are trying to just claim that while they only just changed their name to try to escape my possible lawsuit.

Way.com is responsible as well. I have screenshots of a new 47 messages posted for September of great reviews The Parking [redacted] got, yet they are all phony. I know for a fact! And can prove it! I listened to these reviews in August and left my car in their hands. I have now looked on yelp and EVERY review says the place damaged their car and that some guy “Tony” never got back to them and they are stuck paying. I have found channel 7 news did a story on this parking garage in 2014 and there have been over 15 complaints filed with the [redacted] in **. I just want the money to fix my car!Desired Settlement: I want to be paid for the damage they did to my car bumper $862.12

I want to be reimbursed for the $75 interior detailing I needed to have done

I would like to be reimbursed the $123.36 I paid to have the Parking Place "watch my car"
