The Paw Spa Pet Resort Reviews (3)

Took my five-year-old female lab and she stayed for nine days while we were on vacationThe day after I picked her up, she had gunk oozing from her eyes and I had to haul her into the vet, she had conjunctivitis in both eyes (highly contagious)Over the following few days, she still never acted like herself, and one morning I woke up to her vomiting blood$later, I am told that my dog has pancreatitis, most likely brought on from stressI watched my dog on the pet cameras and she was constantly being jumped on and ridden by larger male dogs, and the human babysitter never did anything to make those incidences stopshe was traumatized! We are in the second week now of trying to get her through this pancreatitis, I hope she survivesI will never never never take my little girl to this place again! $to board her while we were gone, and she comes home with conjunctivitis, another $75, and pancreatitis, another $and I'm not so sure that we're even done yet!! For the health of your dog, take them somewhere else!!

I boarded a dog at the Blondo location June 29th - July 1stI gave clear verbal instructions prior to check in when I provided vaccine recordsI also handed over written instructions when I dropped him offAt pick up I noticed the can of food I provided to give pills was not openI was told they use cheese and pill pockets to give medicationNot sure why other foods would be given without an owner's knowledge or permissionThis could cause serious issues if the dog had allergies or sensitive stomachI also got a report card stating my dog was aggressive and had to be removed from the play areaI did not receive a call about this when I had clearly stated in my instructions to call if there were any behavioral issuesI also stapled a business card to my written instructionsThis dog was recently taken into rescue and I instructed staff care should be used when integrating him with unfamiliar dogsUpon my return home I discovered a bit wound on his legWhen I questioned this I was told they did not notice this, but that my dog was aggressive and started a fightHe was very uncomfortable and had licked the spot raw so I have no idea how this would not be noticedI was also told at check in that he would be with 10-dogs in the play yardThe general manager informed me that they are out with 30-dogsMaybe this is how an injury is not noticed or cared forThe end result is that an infection set inSo in addition to the $the rescue had to pay for boarding they have now paid $for a vet billI provided that information to the Paw Spa and got no responsePretty bad business not offering to cover a vet bill when your staff clearly did not provide adequate care

I have never been so happy with the care my dog received. When I arrived to pick up my 12yr dog [redacted], she practically turned her head and didn't want to come home! She was very well groomed and I believe she got the best care and interaction with all of the employees! Very proud.
