I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I went into Pawn and Jewelry Exchange on 2/3/to pick up my jewelry, when I opened the envelope I noticed the the earring inside weren't the same as the ones I originally pawnedThe earrings that were in the envelope were two different earringsOne was similar to the original pair I pawned, and that one had diamonds in them like the pair I pawned, but had a different decor that mine did not haveThe other earring had no similarityI look at it as if they felt those were in fact the same earrings, why would they give me another pair in place of my original pairI also do not believe that the pair of earrings they gave me were of greater value Regards, [redacted] ***

Jewelry Exchange of switching the earrings she initially pawned with a pair of lesser value. Once the Pawn and Jewelry Exchange and the customer signed the pawn contract, her items were put in an envelope, sealed, and placed in our safe not to be touched until she opened the envelope at the time of redemption. Despite the fact that the customer’s items were in fact the same that were in the envelope, we exchanged the earrings in question for earrings of greater value to make the customer happy. *** proceeded to leave the store happy with the problem resolved, on 2/3/The following day, she then filed a complaint with the Revdex.com on 2/4/15. I went into Pawn and Jewelry Exchange on 2/3/15 to pick up my jewelry, when I opened the envelope I noticed the the earring inside weren't the same as the ones I originally pawned. The earrings that were in the envelope were two different earrings. One was similar to the original pair I pawned, and that one had diamonds in them like the pair I pawned, but had a different decor that mine did not have. The other earring had no similarity. I look at it as if they felt those were in fact the same earrings, why would they give me another pair in place of my original pair. I also do not believe that the pair of earrings they gave me were of greater value.
