I am located at Ventura Vista in Phoenix. The staff has been wonderful, very accommodating & kind! I give this 2 stars due to the noise in this community, walls are very thin. I hear way more than I care to, neighbors are very noisy late into the evening. I don’t think they realize how noise travels or possibly don’t really care. When I first moved in a few months ago my apartment had all kinds of things that needed to be fixed/done to it. I was given a check off sheet of anything that may be wrong or damaged at move-in but I was not told that I needed to hand this in within a couple days of arrival, therefore was told it was too late to hand in, basically null & void after a few days which I feel is not good policy. I was told this was for reference for when I move out. I also did not realize since I am new to Arizona, that this was a family-based community I thought it was an adult community with that said there are a lot of children and a lot of dogs so again the noise level here is just too much for me to handle I am woken up in the evenings/middle of the night due to neighbors/dogs. Children run around literally screaming & being very loud. I’m in my 50’s so prefer a much quieter environment. If you prefer more quiet like I do, this is definitely not the place for you.
On a positive note; again the staff was wonderful and did accommodate me very well before my move-in, that I am very thankful for.

We would like to thank Luis and Daisy for choosing *** Apartments and a PB Bell Community as their home.
"Calibri","sans-serif";">Luis and Daisy rented with *** apartments starting in 2014. On 8-5-15 the residents transferred from one unit to another and signed a new lease including, initialing the paragraph outlining the notice to vacate requirements (written day written notice)
Our office does attempt to provide a renewal notice to all residents to days before lease end (this is a courtesy renewal reminder provided to all residents but is not required by the legal agreement). The office made three attempts to hand deliver the courtesy renewal letter in December, January and February
The manager and staff do not recall any conversation with either resident stating to “just turn in keys”. The manager did have a conversation with Luis on 3-11-and 3-14-and these conversation were related to what options the residents had to fulfill the legal agreement and notice period required. Per the legal agreement no oral promises, representation or agreement have been made, by Owner or managementThe rental agreement is the entire agreement between the parties, and management (including employees, leasing personnel and other personnel) has no authority to waive, amend or terminate this rental agreement or any part of it and has no authority to make promises, representation or agreements which impose duties of security or other obligations on Owner or Management unless done in writing
While we understand that everyone has personal situations and occurrences as part of their daily lives, the leasing personnel and manager must follow the legal agreement and impose the same policies and procedures for all residents.
Again, we thank the residents for choosing *** Apartments, a PB Bell Community. The staff will be more than happy to assist as allowed by the legal agreement and we urge the residents to revisit their options with the manager onsite

I was moved out of one mold and gnat infested apartment, into another that was also infested with mold, gnats, cockroaches, and come to find out the bugs we saw in the drawers of the built in dresser are bed bugs After being moved a few days later there were new tenants in my old apartment, they invited me inside and sure enough the mold was still there they just tried to cover it up...I am absolutely past my last straw with this company and I advise anyone looking to rent from them to stay away

I have been a resident for about months and I now regret signing my lease at one of their properties called Sienna apartments on 45th street and Baseline, beautiful property don't get me wrong and nice floor plans but service from the landlord will make you want to *** your money back and take it to their competing complex next doorI should've taken the first inconvenience as a sign when they didn't call me until the day of move in that they can't move me in for another month due to a bug infestationNext I try to pay my rent online, but I seen they didn't take it out my bank account through my bank app, I go in the day before it's counted late to double check they tell me yes they received my payment but the next day place a notice on my door saying I'm late and charge me a $late fee plus $5/day they were able to set up a payment arrangement, but I feel I shouldn't have been charged the late fees seeing I took it upon myself to double check with them and the gave me hope of a successful paymentI could've paid it with check right then and there, but that's how they get extra from youNext seeing the mocheck list is something to assure everything is replaced and fixed and a fire extinguisher is one on the list I checked it was there in it's location, but when it came down time to put it in use due to a small kitchen grease fire after pulling the pin, it pumped out two pumps and that was it I had to run to my neighbor apartment to use his talk about scary, but I was able to get it under controlWhen I went to tell them I wanted maintenance to look at my stove they just sat a new fire extinguisher outside my door but didn't look at my stove, I took it as something they didn't consider an "emergency" since it was after office hoursGetting maintenance is like pulling teeth when I placed a work order for my garbage disposal they had me waiting for over two weeks, when my apartment started to smell I sat outside till I was able to see and flag down maintenance myself and demand them to look at my disposalAs a paying resident I shouldn't have to deal with situations as such with on top of having to call over a dozen times when you need to talk to a landlord because they don't know how to answer the phone their is one landlord in particular that just doesn't know how to deliver customer service just today when I went to pay the remainder of my ptp (promise to pay) they had me waiting outside for about mins during open office hours so they can hold a meeting a hour before their closing time when they finally opened the door I told one landlord I was here to pay the remainder of my rent and she flat out just said "oh you've already been processed through court" without even looking up my information when I replied with "what are you talking about"? She then looked up my information and said "oh you already set up a ptp"I'm sorry, but the tone she delivered had me almost go off on her just because she's over there assuming when she is supposed to be making a resident feel like a resident not a convictIf you're somebody that requires communication with your landlord not only communication, but friendly communication I highly recommend to steer clear from this place because they just can't seem to get it right

Again, we understand your frustration and the inconvenience of the situation. However, we must follow the legal agreement which clearly states a written day notice is required. The lease not only is signed but also includes initials for each significant paragraph of the legal agreement including the paragraph which states the notice requirements The residents signed the lease and initialed the paragraph which outlined the notice requirements.
We are compassionate and would love to make an exception however, deviation from the legal agreement and policy is a potential legal risk if the same exception is not provided for all residents that do not provide the required notice in the legal agreement (lease). For that reason, we cannot make an exception to the notice period.
The office is able to work with the resident on options within the law and policies to help them through this situation.
Thank you for choosing *** Apartments

I went to a apartment communities which PB Bell owns and Manages in Mesa AZ, [redacted], I put down a deposit to hold apt and to do a application check. they did not approve me due to a 20 Year felony. No Problem. [redacted] told me that they would reimburse me the 100.00 deposit , this company drags their feet, when you try and call [redacted] no answer, then I was told they have 1 phone line. I filed a credit dispute with chase bank for 100.00 . what I would like is the full amount to be refunded . I will never recommend anybody to this company and [redacted] has no business in management. when I first went to the property it took her along time to greet a customer. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I am a current tenant in one of their properties called La Reserve. It has been getting hotter and hotter as the days go by and they are refusing to turn on the a/c even after I have told the manager Diana that I have a 1 month old newborn in the house. I was told by Diana that they are not going to turn on the a/c until the end of the month and to use my fan all while she sits in a cool a/c office. Management will not allow their tenants to have window a/c units. I pay my rent on time every month yet I don't have working a/c isn't this a violation of the tenant's right act. I would not recommend anyone move into these apartments at all.

I have been a resident for about 4 months and I now regret signing my lease at one of their properties called Sienna apartments on 45th street and Baseline, beautiful property don't get me wrong and nice floor plans but service from the landlord will make you want to [redacted] your money back and take it to their competing complex next door. I could've paid it with check right then and there, but that's how they get extra from you. Next seeing the move-in check list is something to assure everything is replaced and fixed and a fire extinguisher is one on the list I checked it was there in it's location, but when it came down time to put it in use due to a small kitchen grease fire after pulling the pin, it pumped out two pumps and that was it I had to run to my neighbor apartment to use his talk about scary, but I was able to get it under control. Thank you for choosing [redacted] Apartments.

While [redacted] Apartments does not recall the conversation we had with the management office employee (Alexis) unfortunately it did happen and it resulted in me being given false information. Being first-time renters we naively trusted this employee and now we feel that we have been taken advantage of. We have talked to the management office several times but cannot reach an agreement, the personnel have not been any helpful and lately they’ve been acting very rude and impolite. We don’t understand why Sienna Apartments doesn’t assume responsibility for something that did happen. We hope that PBbell can understand our situation and help us reach an agreement on good terms with [redacted] Apartments. Thanks.
