On June 19th, 2014, a father of a student came into our studio to register his daughter for our summer workshop production of "Oliver" running July 20-The total amount paid was He registered with our office manager and filled out our Summer registration form and waiver in fullHe
also signed the bottom of the form which indicated he was "fully aware of and agreed to each agreement outlined above"An email was received was received on July 1, requesting a refund or credit for the programThe mother of the student wrote " We signed up for Oliver because ( daughter's name ) loves the performing arts connection but I accidentally booked tion with grandma that week because it's the only week available at grandma's favorite Motel in New HampshireI looked at the calendar after bookingPart of the waiver form in that document outlines our very explicit policyOur refund policy states: " I understand that tuition is only 50% refundable if the workshop is dropped for any reason by April 30, I understand that there are no refunds, credits or substitutions for any reason as of May 1, He indicates in his Revdex.com complaint that he was not aware of what he was signing because the font was to smallWe have over families participate in our summer program and weather they register in person, online, or through the mail, all of them must agree to our waiver from upon registeringOur policy is in place for a variety of reasons and this family registered after our refund and credit deadlineWe are very transparent about our policies and families are welcome to ask questions if they are unable to read or understand our waiver form for any reason
