Stunned Came in for a well woman exam That went great! The NP asked about my hormones, and I mentioned I was on another program She told me Dr [redacted] could handle this for me - and I was delighted to hear she is a hormone specialist The front desk scheduled me for my next appointment They knew from the NP that I am on a program that requires a blood test prior to the hormone injection I asked about this test and the girls told me they do the blood work there and they would do it Super - a stop shop I came back for my hormone appointment with Dr [redacted] *** When I arrived the front reception was cold, unfriendly and not even aware I had an appointment They finally figured it out minutes later I was shown to a exam room During this time another nurse came in and asked about my blood tests I said WHAT? Your people said you do them here She rushed out minutes later Dr [redacted] entered the room This woman was dishelved and unorganized I had to ask her if she was the doctor - she did NOT introduce herself She immediately accused me of not being proactive I had NO idea what she was talking about? DId she have the wrong patient? I asked her what she was talking about and she said I wasn't going to get any hormones today because I didn't have a blood test and this was only a consult not an actual appointment for hormones I was stunned Do any of these people talk to each other and review their patients needs? She was so angry with me - she talked fast and refused to listen to me I was in tears In all my years I have never been so mis treated by a medical professional I told her everything her staff told me and how the blood test was going to be done at her office - she refused to hear me - she continued to blame me - for what I'm still not sure I stood up and said this wasn't going to work for me - I was shaking - I hadn't said much at all to this woman and she continued to berate me I even asked her to repeat what I told her - and she said that was a waste of time I said this wasn't working for me - quite upset - and she threw me out of the office She literally opened the door and pushed me out and down the hallI was too upset to say or do anything I had to drive the long way home to calm myself down - if my husband saw me like this he would have called the police - I felt like I was asulted I still doI wish I would have called the police on the spot This [redacted] *** doctor is not a professional
