I agree entirely with the
Petroleum Club that their advertised cancellation policy is very clearAs they
have said many times, their advertised policy is as states "If canceled days
prior to event – loss of deposit"So why are we still discussing the matter?
We have attempted to cancel months before the original May date and weeks
before the December dateBoth of which comply with their day cancellation
policyThe Petroleum Club states "we believe the package clearly indicates
events canceled any time prior to days before the event will lose their
deposit"If this is so clear to them, why have they not issued us our refund?
We are canceling weeks even months in advance of the end date
Whether we attempted to change
the dates or not, days prior to the event of May 26, would be May 19, and
days prior to an event scheduled for December 23, would have been the 16th
of December Both dates are well after our many attempts to obtain a full
refund and well after we contacted the Revdex.comTheir cancellation policy does not
state that there is a loss of deposit when cancelling in excess of day prior
however they switched the policy on their contract to say there is an entire loss
of deposit once submitted
The fact that there is no name
written for the individual receiving our deposit of $and we have yet to
receive a receipt only raises more suspicionsI see the money has been
deducted based on my credit card statement yet I never received a receipt from
the ClubPerhaps this is playing a role in why they are refusing to issue a
refund?
The Petroleum Club has only shown
us how untrustworthy they areThey are deceitful, greedy, and rudeThey have strung
this simple matter out for months now when it could have been done within a day
had they honored their advertised policyInstead they have made personal
attacks in an attempt to justify their blatant wrong doingThey know their
policy as they have repeated it several times now yet they refuse to honor it because
of a contract they had me sign as a result of misleading advertisements
