Dear Ms [redacted] :This is in response to Mr***s complaint. Our advertising was not false We had approximately Russian boar on hand, ranging from to pounds, of which were over pounds When Mr [redacted] arrived, I told him that we had approximately hybrid feral boar which had been previously requested by a different group That group wanted a discount, and in order to accommodate them, I ordered the hybrid boar They didn’t care, because they weren’t having them mounted; they only wanted them for the meat That group was completely satisfied and has already rebooked. At the beginning, I told Mr [redacted] that there were several different kinds of boars, and to take as much time as they needed to make sure that they were getting the exact right boar that they wanted By the time I put Mr***, the third and last person, in his tree stand, the first person had already shot his boar, which was an pound pureblood Russian boar Before we even had the first boar field-dressed, the second person shot He had shot one of the hybrid pigs He appeared to be very happy, shaking my hand and patting me on the back We took pictures. The group was done by 11: Had Mr [redacted] taken his time, he could have shot a Russian boar Mr [redacted] appeared to be satisfied He had his boar mounted He tipped three of us $100, each Also, because the first person’s boar was under pounds, we gave him a $discount, without being asked.Three days later, Mr [redacted] contacted me, very upset, claiming that my advertising was that we would have only pure European/Russian hogs The only place I advertise is on my website, huntingpigs.pa.com Our website accurately states that we “raise” only European hogs But, at the time Mr [redacted] booked with us, we also advertised “Meat Hog SpecialsBack by popular demand, meat hog specials Contact Larry for pricing.” Clearly meat hogs are not European/Russian hogs However, in order to accommodate Mr***’s request, we have now added the following words to our website: “upon customer’s request, at a discounted price, we can get you meat hogs” in order to match the “Meat Hog Specials” at a different page of our website.I had already ordered Russian boar at the time of Mr***’s group When he first complained to me, I offered him another shoot so that he could be sure to get a Russian boar, at a discounted price He asked me to let him know when the Russian boar arrived, and I texted him pictures Instead, he contacted the Revdex.com He has also threatened our business, stating in a text: “As the treasurer for the city of Weirton, wv urban bowhunt, I will certainly pass along this information to all bow hunters registered with ‘Weirton urban bowhunters association” so they are made aware of your deceptive advertising and claims I will explain that this is a feral hog/farm pig hunt and not a Russian boat [sic] hunt as advertised.”Mr [redacted] accepted the boar he shot To our knowledge the other two people are satisfied with their boar, one of which was a Russian boar We offered him a replacement boar at a discounted price We do not believe that any refund is appropriate

Dear Ms. [redacted]:This is in response to Mr. [redacted]s complaint. Our advertising was not false.  We had approximately 70 Russian boar on hand, ranging from 50 to 300 pounds, 15 of which were over 200 pounds.  When Mr. [redacted] arrived, I told him that we had approximately 11...

hybrid feral boar which had been previously requested by a different group.  That group wanted a discount, and in order to accommodate them, I ordered the hybrid boar.  They didn’t care, because they weren’t having them mounted; they only wanted them for the meat.  That group was completely satisfied and has already rebooked. At the beginning, I told Mr. [redacted] that there were several different kinds of boars, and to take as much time as they needed to make sure that they were getting the exact right boar that they wanted.  By the time I put Mr. [redacted], the third and last person, in his tree stand, the first person had already shot his boar, which was an 80 pound pureblood Russian boar.  Before we even had the first boar field-dressed, the second person shot.  He had shot one of the hybrid pigs.  He appeared to be very happy, shaking my hand and patting me on the back.  We took pictures. The group was done by 11:30.  Had Mr. [redacted] taken his time, he could have shot a Russian boar.  Mr. [redacted] appeared to be satisfied.  He had his boar mounted.  He tipped three of us $100, each.  Also, because the first person’s boar was under 200 pounds, we gave him a $100 discount, without being asked.Three days later, Mr. [redacted] contacted me, very upset, claiming that my advertising was that we would have only pure European/Russian hogs.  The only place I advertise is on my website, huntingpigs.pa.com.  Our website accurately states that we “raise” only European hogs.  But, at the time Mr. [redacted] booked with us, we also advertised “Meat Hog Specials. Back by popular demand, meat hog specials.  Contact Larry for pricing.”  Clearly meat hogs are not European/Russian hogs.  However, in order to accommodate Mr. [redacted]’s request, we have now added the following words to our website: “upon customer’s request, at a discounted price, we can get you meat hogs” in order to match the “Meat Hog Specials” at a different page of our website.I had already ordered 10 Russian boar at the time of Mr. [redacted]’s group.  When he first complained to me, I offered him another shoot so that he could be sure to get a Russian boar, at a discounted price.  He asked me to let him know when the Russian boar arrived, and I texted him pictures.  Instead, he contacted the Revdex.com.  He has also threatened our business, stating in a text: “As the treasurer for the city of Weirton, wv urban bowhunt, I will certainly pass along this information to all 3872 bow hunters registered with ‘Weirton urban bowhunters association” so they are made aware of your deceptive advertising and claims.  I will explain that this is a feral hog/farm pig hunt and not a Russian boat [sic] hunt as advertised.”Mr. [redacted] accepted the boar he shot.  To our knowledge the other two people are satisfied with their boar, one of which was a Russian boar.  We offered him a replacement boar at a discounted price.  We do not believe that any refund is appropriate.
