*** *** applied for one of our apartment homes online (***) on 3/10/at 7:PM PST, after our office was closed. A leasing representative (*** ***) spoke to him at 2:PM the following day (Saturday). During the conversation, *** verified further information as
to what specifically they were looking forThe apartment that they had shown interest in was part of our *** program or affordable housing. This is also clearly stated on our website. By the time that they had spoken, this apartment has already been leased. We are not able to guarantee that an apartment that a prospect is interested in will be available. Additionally, upon initial review, the *** would not qualify for this affordable home due to their level of income. We did let them know that we did not have an apartment home for their timeframe at the moment but our availability changes on a daily basis. The *** did contact our office again on 4/after seeing an apartment that became available online. At that time, we did have a bedroom conventional apartment available but since it is not part of the *** program it did not fall within the reduced rental rate criteria. In the interest of customer service, we will be happy to refund their application fees This refund is due to the fact that it appears that the communication regarding the *** and conventional apartment homes was not clearly explained to the applicants. Please do not hesitate to let me know if I can be of any further assistance

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
Sincerely,
*** ***

[redacted] no longer manages The Pines at Castke Rock. This complaint needs to be removed. Nonetheless, I would like to explain that we never owned the building, we were just managing it and the new management company gets a copy of all of our records....

I have attached the documents that this former tenant is asking for, but if there are any other allegations, they need to be taken up to the new management company, not to [redacted]
From what I can see on our records, the lease break fee was applied; which meand that, yes, it was paid by Ms. [redacted]. The reason Ms. [redacted] has a balance has nothing to do with her breaking the lease, it comes from the charges after her move out which include cleaning and other things necessary to get the apartment back to the same condition it was originally given to her minus normal wear and tear. I also attached the statement of deposit accounts whicg lists all the charges and credits after Ms. [redacted] moved out. The debt she has can be paid to [redacted] by calling them at: XXX-XXX-XXXX
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 45, 2015/10/13) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I had a move out inspection the day that I moved out and I did provide a forwarding address that was in Minnesota. I lived there for 5 months but there was resurfacing done, cleaning that was already done by me, painting that obviously had to be done due to the holes in the walls. But this is what apartments do rather you clean or not, this should NOT be my responsibility to pay for when I had done this prior to moving out. There were no complaints, I was complimented on the cleanliness of the apartment, if anything I didn't clean the stove as good as I could maybe. I will pay for the stove cleaning and that's is it because this is what I know, I was not able to do as well. Please resolve this and contact me ASAP via email and/or cell [redacted]
Final Business Response /* (4000, 47, 2015/10/26) */
Dear [redacted],
Thank you for your response. Please be advised that cleanliness is not considered normal wear and tear. It is the residents responsibility to ensure that they adequately clean their apartment home or the resident will be liable for reasonable cleaning charges. Please note our records indicate that the cleanliness of the apartment was not sufficient therefore you have incurred charges for additional cleaning of your apartment home.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
