I was quoted a price for a better hot water heater than what was installed.
My old heater was 65,000 BTU, when the plumber looked at it, he said he would replace it with the exact same rating.
When I asked him for the model #, he refused to supply it.
When he came to install the unit, I noticed that it was a 62,000 BTU.
He then claimed that it didn't matter.
When I spoke to the manager, Gary, he told me the same thing.
Since the price quote was for a better unit than what I got, I then asked if he would give me a discount.
He told me he would not do so.
In addition, after the plumber finished installing the new unit, I realized that he had left the old hot water heater in the parking lot.
When I called and left a message (on Friday eve) asking Gary to send someone to pick it up, he never did.
I had to call repeatedly and finally they came and picked it up on Monday.
