I am rejecting this response because:The response is a further example of the lies and incompetence that hardworking and loyal customers are subjected to at this establishmentThe statement claims that [redacted] informed me that the tuneup and oil change were not performed when I in fact have video footage showing [redacted] agreeing that there should be oil in my vehicle after I returned, she then proceeded to pull my car around to the garage and try to pour new oil on top of the tiny bit of old oil which remained in my vehicle until I told them that was unacceptable, and again all of this is on video and I would be willing , able and very happy to get that to you if you let me know how to go about doing that(video is to long to attach t this emai)I would like a full refund from joe in order to take my vehicle to a shop willing to treat customers with common courtesy and respect

We regreat Mr [redacted] 's experience and sincerely are sorry for the issues that he had Upon receipt of this complaint I pulled the invoice, interviewed those involved and collected all pertaining evidence and the following is what was found Mr [redacted] brought his [redacted] Pacifica due to a high idle when AC was running, brake noise, tuand oil changeAfter quote was given and approval was obtained repairs began and the installation of idle air control valve and EGR valve were completed The technician drove the vehicle and noticed the transmission shifted irregular Customer was called to discuss shifting issue of the tranny and asked if technician could have time to run diagnostics and offer recommendationsCustomer declined further work to be done and wanted to picked up his vehicle then as he needed it When the vehicle was picked up [redacted] told Mr [redacted] that only the idle air control valve and EGR valve were replaced [redacted] states that she told Mr [redacted] that they did not have time to complete the oil change or turequested, but if he brought it back for the transmission diagnostics, those things could be completed at no charge to Mr [redacted] My conclusion is that perhaps the shop had Mr [redacted] 's [redacted] longer than the customer expected, however the shop did not have time to complete the tuor perform an oil change which we would like to make right The oil level was low when it was brought in, however, that should have been checked at the onset We would like to offer to perform the tuand oil change at no cost Also, the owner, [redacted] ***, will personally and directly work with Mr [redacted] to try and resolve all of his issues

First off I am very sorry for what happened at our shopI have high standards here and it did not get accomplishedI let go a former tech who worked on [redacted] truck due to poor workmanship wich put us way behind on the scheduleIt seemed to go downhill from there and I deeply apologizeI agree the service was bad and we are having meetings about this specificlyI was not aware the AC quit working until nowI think it is only fair that I reimburse [redacted] the total amount of the billAgain I take how this went very personally and deeply regret the bad experienceI did not build my bussiness up performing this kind of serviceI will put a check in the mail this weekAgain I am very sorry for your experience ***Best Regards, ***

I am rejecting this response because: I was just thinking of whether I should accept the counter offer or notIf it's closed for good whateverThere's no way I was going to be happy with what they were offering meI'm mostly upset about how they treated a customerOn that note, why are they not held to the days? They wrote in an email they would put a check in the mail the next dayThen after more than seven days I had to inquireI feel like the case should have been closed at that point and they owe me $Looks like I just might have to look at my other options. ***

Joe's will reimburse King for the AC compressor ($484.00) plus half the laboar ($225.00) when AC compressor is returned to our shop.  We believe the AC compressor is faulty.   We will work with any licensed auto shop in Butte County to arrange the pick up of the AC compressor.  We can pay the auto shop or King after the AC compressor has been recieved the amount of $673.00. Joe

We are sorry that Mr. [redacted] does not want to allow the shop the opportunity to resolve his vehicle issues. We have already credited Mr. [redacted] $259.10 for a free oil change, oil filter, air filter, spark plugs and labor. In an effort to resolve the issue, we offer an additional refund of half the labor $172.00.

Our price was $220.28. I hope this helps in resolving this issue and explains how we estimate jobs.
