[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I am forwarding a copy of receipt dated 01/19/showing that Mr muffler replaced both right side converters and furnished the partsestablishment stated in the last paragraph of their response that they couldn't warranty a part they didn't furnishIf she would lie about that she would surely lie about other thingsAs I said before, its very easy to conger up additional problems after you have performed a repair, collected money and vehicle still runs badShe neglected to put in and out mileage on ticket which could definitely affect warranty, her finished tickets don't have any warranty info on themthe average repair facility has a year on parts and also at least days on laborShe is trying to portray that she run a class establishment and she cant even furnish the basicsAlso she has eluded that I am not allowed back in her business but if I remember correctly I left the establishment on my own because I could see she was going to honor her responsibilitiesThe police were never called while I was there, and also I never threaten anyone with physical harmShe's trying to portray me as a unreasonable customerIf both right side converters were replaced which is what my paperwork states or maybe since she doesn't remember or have any record maybe they weren't replaced and she charged me for themI also sent pictures of repairs and under looking at them both left converters don't seem to be new and also they left bolts loose which is in picturesIf the flange that is shown in those pictures with the loose bolt were new there shouldn't be a weld where it meets the pipeI suspect they made converters from scraps they had laying around and passed them off as new.The pictures of receipts will be sent on next email Regards, [redacted] ***

ID***Customer vehicle was towed in 1/27/Customer requests us to install both right side converters, note both right side converters so clogged rendering vehicle not drivable customer declines diagnostic at this timeCustomer receipt states converters do not fail on there own if they do
you have a problem just replacing them will not fix the problem, problems can be engine tune up required, excess fuel entering exhaust, sensors and solenoids not functioning, plugs, wires,coils, emissions issues all possible causes of converter failureMechanic notes on ticket bad engine misfire at this time vehicle running rough.Customer brings vehicle back 8/13/states vehicle loss of power and left side rattleCustomer requests diagnosis done this timeVehicle running sluggish and rattle on left side was due to variable valve timing solenoids malfunction the rattle was the valves rattling not the convertervariable valve timing solenoids fail due to dirty oil this issue will cause vehicle to dump fuel down the exhaust unburned and possibly cause converters to clog and failWe recommend changing both valve timing solenoids those were the present codes in the ECM no converter codes Were in the ECM at this time.customer oks work to be doneWe change solenoids and rattle goes away but vehicle is still not running properlyVehicle has multiple mechanical issues so we call customer and let him know converters are clogged on left side even though there were no converter codes stored in the ECM the only way to tell if converters are clogged with no computer Codes present is to put a hole in the exhaust pipe and check for non sufficient air flow.Now our service writer did not mention vehicle may have Several issues we decided to give the customer a $discount on both converters to insure our good customer Service and that one sentence was not said to the customer(Your vehicle has multiple mechanical issues so we need to start with this first...) Customer returns a week later now both converters on right side are clogged (we just changed both right side converters months ago) customer demands we replace both converters for freeWe explained his vehicle has many mechanical issues that were not addressed months ago and still has misfires now and that's what caused the converter failure in the first placeAlso we only installed his converters how can we warranty a part we did not buy (they were the customers parts) When we would not warranty a part we did not purchase customer started threatening staff and threatened physical harm at that point he is no longer allowed in the propertyWe feel a heavy discount $because of a misplay on words was sufficient and the best we could do we will not replace parts we did not purchaseThanks

She is trying to portray that she run a class establishment and she cant even furnish the basics. Also she has eluded that I am not allowed back in her business but if I remember correctly I left the establishment on my own because I could see she was going to honor her responsibilities.
