The Pointe Apartments Reviews (%countItem)

On Saturday April 27th. We noticed that our pickup truck was missing from its parking space in the handicapped parking spot, which we have a up to date handicapped placard clearly visible and hanging from the rear view mirror. The day we had parked another vehicle was parked over into the handicapped spot. So I had to park our pickup a foot over the parking line into handicapped lines. The workers at the front desk had our vehicle towed for improper parking. As to which there many vehicles that are dead and are sitting in parking spots and has been there for a year. The other handicapped parking spot which another tenant claims always parks over the lines. And has never been tagged or towed. I explained our situation and they continued to tell me that we parked improperly by crossing over the line into the remaining ha dicapped parking spot. This is utterly unacceptable. My husband needs space to get out of the vehicle. And they are always parking their golf carts in the handicapped area.

To Whom It May Concern,

We are in receipt of complaint #*** regarding a vehicle being towed from a disabled parking space on the premises at Green Leaf River Pointe Apartments. While the vehicle did display a disabled permit, the vehicle was improperly parked by taking up both the disabled parking space and adjacent no parking zone for several days. The vehicle was not registered with our office so we could not determine who the owner was and notify them of the parking violation directly. On Friday 4/26/19 a towing notice was posted on the vehicle at approximately 10:00am advising that the vehicle would be towed in 24 hours due to 1.) not displaying a permit issued by our facility, and 2.) for being improperly parked in a disabled space. Vehicles not displaying a permit issued by our office may be towed after 24-hours per the provisions of our lease and vehicles improperly parked in a disabled space may be towed without advance notice.

Pictures of the vehicle were taken on 4/26/19 after the towing warning was posted and on 4/27/19 before the vehicle was towed-please see attached. We believe that our staff made a good faith effort to notify the vehicle owner of the issue by posting a 24-hour notice and acted appropriately in having the vehicle towed. We had no means to attempt to resolve this issue in another manner due to the fact that the vehicle was not registered with our office. It was also stated in the complaint that our staff regularly park our facility golf cars in the disabled parking space. Our staff members do not park their personal vehicles or facility vehicles in the disabled space in question, or in any of the other disabled spaces on our premises. We hope that this information helps to clarify any concern as to the validity of this vehicle being towed.

Thank You,

Stephanie J

Horrible staf! Takes months to repair things that legally need to be fixed in under a week. Rude rude RUDE office staff, they never answer the phones and then when they do, they're unprofessional. Maintenance is a joke, just a good way to mess up an already run down apartment. Oh and hope you like paying for parking spaces that other people can park in without getting towed. You have to have a manager to call the tow company or they wont lift a finger. Impossible to get ahold of ANYONE. Do not move here.

I lived at Green leaf riverpoint apartments for 10 years. Went through many property managers, but Green leaf Partners were probably the worst. When Maintenance requests were made several weeks to get them done and then no communication. I decided to move out June 2017 and in May I went into the office and asked how clean I needed to have the apartment, I didn't expect my deposit back because I lived there 10 years I was told don't worry about it too much,. I shampooed the carpets and cleaned the best that we could. I moved out 8 days before my 30 days up. No final walk through On July 19 I emailed for my final walk through when I was surprised to over 600 after going back and forth I was told that I would have to pay 149.92. I told them I could not agree on this since all of the repairs were wear and tear. I asked for their corporate office number and left numerous messages and no return when I emailed back and spoke with Hilary at the apartments she copied her Manager stephanie, both of them knew that I wanted a resolution. Tried to call several times and got no where. On February 21 I received a letter that they had made attempts but had not since August when I did and if I did not pay the 149.92 by 25th it would go to collection. If I did I could pay half of it. I called and left a message and emailed on the 21 and then once again on the 24th and emailed their corporate office and no response. Because of the statue of how long I lived there I should not have to pay and was told I would not have to pay anything. There is no communication and all asked is a resolution and for them to own up to their verbal contract that I would not have to pay anything.
