The management at the Pointe is atrocious and they are either severally undermanned in the maintenance department or it is just run equally as terribleWhen I moved in the apartment was not cleaned properly with hair left in the shower , dust on all furniture ,and crumbs and candy wrappers scattered throughout the bedroomAlso our apartment was missing blinds that cover the balcony door were not installed and when they finally were installed two weeks later they were dysfunctionalI also put in 3-work orders that just never got addressed including a nonworking microwave for the last three months lived in the apartment, and a birds nest which I put in the work order on the move in day and it was still there the day I moved outThe Pointe also likes to send out threatening letters and emails to tenants in order for them to stop using energy as high ratesAlthough I signed a lease for an all inclusive apartment (no caps), I and many other residents were charged "overages" due to "excessive and irresponsible use of energy"The office phone is rarely answered so a physical visit is required to get anything doneThe staff acts bothered when you ask or request anythingAlso upon moving out I was charged a fee for leaving a trash bag in the "common" area while the apartment was still being used by another roommateAll in all my experience with the Pointe was awful and wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless they have exhausted all their options

The Pointe has VERY poor Management skills! My daughter moved into a bedroom unit Was living in the apartment for a short while and discovered that the apartment was infested with rats!! The girls living in the unit asked to be moved The girls along with the parents called and called for weeks until the issue was addressed They finally agreed to move them However, the unit that they were moved to, was so badly damaged by the prior renters that it took weeks to make repairs to the walls The furniture in the unit they were moved to was not replaced Once the girls moved in, they called and reported this to management The report was never recorded and after the girls moved out, The Pointe sent $charges to all girls that lived in the unitThey sent fees after the girls had been moved out for months! We have called and called the Management staff at the Pointe and they will not return a phone callDO NOT RENT FROM THE POINTE!!

Ms*** was charged for a damaged mattress. She turned in keys on July 27, and a move out inspection was done by our staff on July 31, 2017. At that time, we documented with pictures the damages to the mattress. Because we had almost people move out in July it did
take us until early October to sort through all damage pictures and charge accounts accordingly. We also compared each damage picture to move in inspection reports given to us by the departing residents on their move in day documenting any damages they found at the time of their move inThis process is very time consuming and we try very hard to make sure we are not incorrectly billing someone so we always check the move in condition form before placing a charge on someone's account. Ms*** was notified in October of the charges and to date has not been reported to collection agencies. Please let me know if I can help with any additional information

The Pointe's management staff is unprofessional They have a, and I quote, "policy" of abusive scare letters concerning issues that could be resolved in a decent manner with a simple phone call or professional letterPhone calls to the management are maddening They only way to resolve anything is to write a certified letter and speak of your intent to leave at the end of a leaseTheir cheprocedure is vague at best and their check-out procedure is non-existent leaving no solid evidence that all is taken care of After four years of on time rent my son was treated like a criminal We agreed to pay the last month's rent if he room was not sublet After being told he would receive notice if any further rent was due he received a threatening letter This abusive method is unacceptable and should not be "policy" They are rude and I would not recommend this place to anyone

The office management handles business extremely unprofessionally
My phone calls and emails were avoided on several occasions before I was able to get an office manager to respond to a question regarding the move in If my son had not insisted on living with his friends at this location, I would not have entertained the thought of signing a lease with this company
Now it is time to move out, and the account has been charged for a mattress damage feeWhat damages???? I don't see any damages There was no indication from the inspector that there was anything wrong in my son's room while he was there In fact the inspector said, "Everything looks fine" Again, my call and emails have been ignored thus far
Unfortunately this is not the only time I have heard a complaint about charging an unverified fee after the apartment has be vacated And why would an apartment complex whose target group is college students not offer a month lease?
Extremely disappointed at how they take advantage of college students

The Pointe is the most atrocious place to live Please do not send your children there to live My daughter moved in Aug and reported at the beginning of her tenancy that there was a mold problem They slowly attempted to remedy the problem by surface cleaning and the mold continued to grow back We sent them a letter requesting resolution and their fix was to cut a hole in her wall that was from floor to ceiling while waiting on material to fix the problem with the pipes behind the wall This was in Oct/Nov timeframe My daughter approached them several times about fixing her wall and they promised it would be fixed by the time she returned in January from Christmas When she returned, they told her that they ran out of material As of March 2, her wall was still not fixed after telling me that it was only a small hole that could be covered by a picture They are out of their minds A floor to ceiling hole that is -inches wide can't be covered up After sending them an e-mail this week, they finally agreed to temporarily close the hole until they can permanently fix the pipes behind the wall and then the wall The first year she was there she dealt with roaches and rats and moved to the newer phase that was infested with mold PLEASE DON"T SEND YOUR STUDENT THERE TO LIVE

The management at the Pointe is atrocious and they are either severally undermanned in the maintenance department or it is just run equally as terrible. The Pointe also likes to send out threatening letters and emails to tenants in order for them to stop using energy as high rates. Although I signed a lease for an all inclusive apartment (no caps), I and many other residents were charged "overages" due to "excessive and irresponsible use of energy". The office phone is rarely answered so a physical visit is required to get anything done. The staff acts bothered when you ask or request anything. Also upon moving out I was charged a fee for leaving a trash bag in the "common" area while the apartment was still being used by another roommate. All in all my experience with the Pointe was awful and wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless they have exhausted all their options.

The Pointe has VERY poor Management skills! My daughter moved into a 3 bedroom unit. Was living in the apartment for a short while and discovered that the apartment was infested with rats!! Once the girls moved in, they called and reported this to management. The report was never recorded and after the girls moved out, The Pointe sent $370 charges to all 3 girls that lived in the unit. They sent fees after the girls had been moved out for 6 months! We have called and called the Management staff at the Pointe and they will not return a phone call. DO NOT RENT FROM THE POINTE!!
