On January 7, 2016, our service technician arrived at Ms. [redacted] home and made a water line repair located in a crawl space underneath the bathroom. This was the third repair our company has made on this particular water line in the past few months. When out technician completed the...
repair, he turned the water supply back on to the water line to test his work. The repair he made held tight, however, another leak began further down the water line when the pressure of the water filled the pipe. When the other leak occurred, our service technician called his service manager to inform him of the situation. The service manager immediately arrived at the home to inspect the situation. At that time, the service manager told Ms. [redacted] that the water line was in critical condition and no further repairs would be recommended due to the poor integrity of the pipe. He informed her that she needed a complete replacement of the water line pipe rather than keep repairing it because this problem would be a reoccurring issue. The service manager gave her a written quote to do the replacement. In our 65 years of experience, our company stands behind our diagnosis and recommendations. Ms. [redacted] has a larger plumbing problem than she initially believed and has chosen not to address the problem.As far as the statement that she has a letter from another plumber regarding repairs, she forwarded to us a typed note on plain white paper, which has no plumbers name, address, or license number on it. Again, we stand behind our recommendations.
Also, Ms. [redacted] filed a complaint against us with her credit card company. After her credit card company reviewed all of the information, they found in our favor and returned payment in full to us.
