The Pond Place

Review: I called The Pond Place since he relined our Koi Pond about a year ago. I called him this time to help fix the waterfall and a leaking gasket. He said I needed a new U-V light even though m8ine was working fine and fairly new . He (Allan) the owner said he would be back the next day to do repairs. He installed the U-V light($11.99 at the pool supply store here in town.). He talked to me a few minutes and asked for $256.40, which I wrote him a check for the amount he asked for. He did not inform me of any travel expenses, install the leaking gasket and spent about 10 minutes at my home. I received no invoice or return to finish work. I live about 18 miles from his store so I am figuring he charged me about $32.00 a mile with out ever mentioning a charge for travel.Desired Settlement: I would like my original light back and all of the other money returned except for a fair amount for travel time. I called his office the next day and was told he would be gone for a week. I told the employee I wanted the light retuned and that we had a problem. The check was cashed that day, since I called my bank to stop payment , but was too late.
