Review: We purchased a double strand pearl necklace from The Popular Auction on 18th May 2014. They guaranteed in writing several times, as well as verbally during telephone conversations, that these pearls were NATURAL pearls and not cultured pearls. We clearly stated we were not interested in buying cultured pearls. We have emails from The Popular Auction stating that they 100% guaranteed the pearls to be natural, so we went ahead and bought the pearls on their guarantee.When we received the pearls we sent them to a gemmological laboratory to be tested, and they were found to be cultured pearls, not natural. We informed The Popular Auction and sent the pearls back for a refund, however the company is now dragging its heels and delaying the refund. They do not return telephone calls or emails, and [redacted] the boss will not speak with us when we call. His staff are left to fob us off with vague ' we will call you back' lines; we have been told they are arranging for the pearls to be tested at GIA but his staff are unable to confirm if the pearls have been submitted for testing.Desired Settlement: We would like a full refund of all costs associated with this necklace:$9,760 Cost price 448 Import Duty 330 Shipping$10,538 TOTAL

Review: Hi I am [redacted] and I sent two piece of art to [redacted] at popular auction and he sold the art and lied about send me my check for the iteams he sold to the client then he lied again and again about so much I have paper work and and a contract and never received my payment for my iteams that [redacted] sold in the the auction in SEPTEMBER of 2014 .THE company ripped me off and did not pay at all and he keeps lieing to me about sending me my payment up until today and still have not received my payment of 10,000 dollars form [redacted] at Pouplar Auction in [redacted] ,NJ.Desired Settlement: Hi I would like to receive my full amount of 10,000 dollars from Pouplar Auction IN [redacted] NJ for the two piece of art he sold for me THANKS
