Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
in regards to signing a potential cosigner waiver, they did not inform to me until after attending class that a cosigner was needed. I was notified that I was accepted into the program not accepted with a cosigner agreement. Mike said I was accepted into the program if he would have told me I need a cosigner to be accepted I would have declined on the basis I did not have a cosigner. I signed a waiver saying I understood I made need one however if one was not required then I would have been able to go to class I should have been informed prior to attending that one was needed.
also I spoke with Robin over the refund department for the truck driving Institute. she informed me that no refund would be administered because of the few hours I attended class was $795 bill the $200 that I paid $100 for a physical that they did not complete and $100 for a hotel room that I never stayed in, that they cancelled both of those funds should be returned to me.  she has informed me that she is going  to continue to keep the $200, that went for the hotel and physical, and apply that money toward the bill of the truck driving class. since I did not pay any money towards the truck driving class that I am requesting a refund toward I am requesting a refund towards the money that I paid for the physical in the hotel room which was canceled there for that money should be returned. She cannot apply that money towards a different bill

Truck Driver Institute, Inc. adamantly denies all of the allegations of [redacted]....

Mr. [redacted] applied to attend Truck Driver Institute, Inc. which is an adult vocational truck driving school licensed, regulated and audited by the State of Indiana. Our records and information are on file, current and compliant with all state regulatory agencies. We have been in business since 1973 and currently operate 12 locations in 8 states. We report to and maintain compliance with eight separate state regulatory agencies and under their watchful eyes have graduated more than 100,000 students.
Mr. [redacted] was informed of all pertinent information at each stage of his application process. Mr. [redacted] was properly informed of Truck Driver Institute's tuition requirements and personally signed a Tuition Finance Information sheet (a copy attached for your reference) which even included his initials next to the possibility of a cosigner requirement.
Mr. [redacted] refund information was forwarded to his attention on August 5, 2014. Mr. [redacted] refund was made in accordance with the refund policy mandated by the State of Indiana and set forth in the School Catalog which Mr. [redacted] received upon enrollment. Mr. [redacted] attended the first full day of training. Commercial driver license training is heavily regulated due to the safety concerns and issues. The number of seats available to start the program is limited as the instructor teacher ratio is set by the State and therefore only a set number of students may be admitted with each class start. This limitation is explained to each prospective student. When Mr. [redacted] started class on, he prevented Truck Driver Institute from filling that limited slot with a student who would have completed the program. This is the reason for the weekly refund policy, which has been reviewed and approved by the State of Indiana. The refund policy is provided in writing (both in the contract Mr. [redacted] signed and the Catalog provided to each student) and is clear that anyone who commences the program is responsible for one third of the costs of the program. Mr. [redacted] refund was calculated based upon that state mandated refund policy.

Mr. [redacted] is upset, but he chose to stop training. Mr. [redacted] was not dismissed from the training program. He quit as a personal choice.
Sincerely,
Michael [redacted]
General Counsel
