In response to complaint # [redacted]The Preferred Prepaid did receive $92.00 on August 27, 2014 to apply as paymenttowards her order of 10 Net10 CDMA sim cards and 10 Simple Mobile $40 Prefundedsim cards. This amount was applied to her total price of sim cards andshipping. Mrs....

[redacted] returned the sim cards claiming they were expired when infact they were not. There was a note on all of our outgoing orders’ invoicesadvising our customers that, per Simple Mobile, the “Prefunded Program” wouldexpire as of October 1st, 2014. The order was placed August 27,2014. This would only apply to Simple Mobile, not Net10, as Net10 does not havea prefunded program. Because Mrs. [redacted] returned the shipment, the agent advisedher that she would receive regular sim cards instead but shipping had to bepaid separately. We received a [redacted] transfer of $9.97 to pay for shipping. Acknowledging Mrs. [redacted]’s request for a refund, a check of $89.03was issued on November 7, 2014 as refund. This check was mailed to [redacted]. This has not yet been cashed. Several calls have beenmade to the customer in regards to this, but the calls are always disconnected. We want to verify this is a correctaddress to send her payment. If Mrs. [redacted] has not received the checkissued in November, we would like to know as we can issue a new one with thenew amount of $101.97 covering the first and second payments.  Regards, ThePreferred Prepaid

Review: I am seeking assistance in getting Preferred Prepaid to refund these amounts: $92.00 on 8/27/14 and $9.77 on 9/17/14. These amounts were paid to Preferred Prepaid through [redacted]. I started a new business to sell prepaid wireless phones and airtime. I placed an order and paid $92 for prefunded sim cards and were mailed prefunded sim cards with an expiration date before delivery of the shipment. Because of the expired date on the sim cards and my refusal to pass off on customers expired sim cards, I rejected delivery of the FedEx package from this disreputable company. I was then told by their disreputable sales agent that he would replace the expired sim cards with other legitimate and valid cards. This required an additional payment of $9.77. This shipment was never made by the disreputable company. I have made repeated requests for refund of the monies I paid through [redacted] and also requested no more emails or phone calls from them and I wanted nothing more to do with this disreputable company. My requests have been ignored and I continue to get spam and nuisance calls from them in addition to ignoring my requests for a refund.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a refund of the $92.00 and $9.77 that were paid through [redacted] and also for all telephone calls and emails to cease.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I previously filed a complaint against the PreferredPrepaid.com and they agreed to refund the payment I made to them in two amounts totaling $101.97 for products that were never shipped to me. They have not complied with their agreement to refund me the payments that were made to them. I was told a check was mailed but in fact no check was ever mailed. They have declined to respond to my follow-up emails. Since a check was never received, they were requested to make the refund through [redacted] since payments were made to them through [redacted]. The assistance of the Revdex.com is requested in reopening this caseI previously filed a complaint with the Revdex.com regarding the Preferred Prepaid. They have reneged on their agreement to make the refund to resolve my Revdex.com complaint.
