I am rejecting this response because: 1st of all this company never contacted me until I filed my complaint with youNow they are telling me that they can determine that the tears are due to wear and tear from a photoI can't prove that my dog tore the seat as I did not immediately check my seat after she jumped into this seat but noticed 1-weeks laterAny warranty work is to be completed in the county of my residence not theirsThey need to come to me for the inspectionBottom line is that they has no intention of honoring thier warrant and that's why they never contacted me until my Revdex.com complaint Regards, [redacted] ***

They never had any intention of honoring their warranty and I will not be happy until they fix my seat Unfortunately, they are refusing to do so which is too bad I hope they can deal with me never buying there warranty again and the negative voice that I will give to future customers I do have a lot of relatives in the Columbus are and work for a large corporation in the area Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Regards, [redacted] ***

First, the claimant left a threatening phone message on our voicemail that left office personnel alarmed enough that they contacted Gahanna police and completed a report. Now, to answer his complaint: Our office received Mr*** claim and followed our claims procedure by
obtaining a copy of his warranty and photos of the damageAfter reviewing the photos, it was determined that he had not reported the damage within the required days for onset of the damageHe was notified of such and the denial of his claim accordingly All appearance warranties have a Claims Procedure SectionOn the Pro-Tec Warranty, it states ‘in order to process a claim under the Limited Warranty, the Original Owner or subsequent retail owner must: Within sixty (60) days of an occurrence that results in damage to the Vehicle, which gives rise to claim under this Limited, call Customer Assistance at ###-###-#### and speak with a representative in the Warranty Claims Department to give notice of the claim and to obtain a control number.” All appearance warranties I've reviewed have this same day notice on reporting damage, from ONSET of damage This reasonable request by all appearance Companies, including Pro-Tec, is set forth in order to minimize cost of repairs before repair costs escalate beyond reasonable amounts Whether it's Rust, Paint and or Interior damage, customers are required to report damage in the same fashion Addressing claims earlier, rather than later, provide best results, with more satisfied customers Mr*** waited way beyond the legal terms and conditions of his ten year rust warranty for reporting a claim. Ms. [redacted],We submitted your claim information and recent photo to the insurance company adjuster.  They agree  with Key Motorworks’ professional assessment that the blemish in your driver side seat is cracking as a result from sliding in an out of  the vehicle.  This is not unusual with some factory materials especially noticeable with light color interiors. Ms. [redacted],We forwarded your photo to our 3rd party claims specialist. Their evaluation has determined that this is a factory defect that caused abnormal wear and tear of the leather, which resulted from sliding over the surface over time. We will forward your claim to the insurance carrier;...

however, based on this finding, it is doubtful that they will approve the claim for repair. (See reverse side of Warranty, under “Ultimate Interior Protection” #2 regarding manufacture defects.) The warranty only covers repairs for claims, not replacements, if the claim is approved. If you would like a visual inspection to be performed by the above mentioned claims specialist, to verify their findings, we can help arrange for that at a convenient location in Columbus.
