I bought an former breeder pug for $She is only and her uterus has prolapsed from having so many puppies, and her growth had been stuntedShe had a huge umbilical herniaShe was taken to the vet and got a $surgery with vaccinationsMy vet called the vet Ms *** *** had given me that supposedly saw my dogThe vet told us Ms *** is actually a backyard puppy mill and had only brought in my dog to see if she could still breedWhen they told her no, she left angrilyMy dog has never had vaccinations or veterinary care, or at least the two vets I have since seen and the vet she gave me believeFor the first weeks she cowered at us when we came near her and it took her that long to start wagging her tailShe doesn't know how to play and is easily startled by sudden noisesShe doesn't respond to the name she was supposedly given so we renamed herWhen I picked her up from Ms *** at the Pug Barn, she acted as if I were taking off some trash for her, doing her a favorShe told me by getting rid of the dog she was suffering a huge loss but since she is already "ruined", she would take the for herMy animal was nothing but a business assetHow patheticPlease do not support this woman's business

After searching for months for a black pug puppy, and experiencing numerous outright scams on the internet, I ran across a reference to the Pug Barn. I called and talked to the ownner/breeder, and immediately realized I had found what I had been searching for. My wife and I made an appointment (we live out of town) to see the puppies. It was obvious that there was no puppy mill atmosphere, as the mother dogs and puppies were kept inside the house. Both parents were on-site. Although they did not have a black puppy, we were so impressed by the quality of the dogs that we purchased one, but would have to wait a few weeks until it was of age to leave it's mother. We received a phone call a few days later informing us that one of the pugs had a liter of puppies, some of which were black. We were told that we could come and select one if we desired, and that our deposit would be applied to that one. This was only two days before Christmas, and made our holidays much more enjoyable. Quality puppies, great customer service, and reasonable prices. Highly recommend!!!
