My name is DrF [redacted] and I received a patient (young Maltese puppy) from this establishment In their handout to my client they suggested that puppies only go outside of their crate for minutes a day This is very poor advice as puppies need socialization and need to be slowly crate trainedThey also recommend fruity pebbles or frosted flakes as treats - both of these are poor choices Lastly, they said that the vitamins they sell are mandatory when they are not medically necessary when feeding a commercial diet

Dishonest pricing, rude staff, and dirty store

So I called this puppy store yesterday to purchase a shih tzu puppy and the person I spoke with over the phone told me we have available and they all cost $So today I go to the store and see the the shih tzu puppy that I wanted from the picture message I received from the store and started the registration process and noticed that on the paperwork the price listed was $and when I questioned the price the worker started to give me an attitude saying it wasn't me you spoke to, so I canceled everything and walked outI was really annoyed that I had to drive from Staten Island to Brooklyn in traffic and I get advertising in price

Review: I bought a teacup Yorkie witch lasted 5 months my vet notified me that she died of her liver witch in the contract that's covered up to one year after I bought the puppy they told me I had to bring my dead puppy's body to there get to do an autopsy witch I could eat because I brought her to get cremated once I found her dead so they told me that I can get another puppy at cost which is what they pay for the puppies so I bought another puppy and 26 days later the puppy died suddenly i've then brought the puppies body to there vet to get the autopsy done and apparently there was no cause of death now again I've asked for a refund of my money for the second puppy not for the first and they told me I could only get another puppy at cost not even for free this place has ruined my family emotionally I am very scarred and And so are my children all I wanted was to get my money back so I can go to a different breeder to get another puppy for my kids ; my children ask me everyday when is there puppy comming home ,Desired Settlement: I just want my money back so I can make my kids happy again

Review: Purchased an unfit for sale puppy in July. I have spent over $1300 on this puppy since. I have been faxing over every veterinary bill sense as well and the store worker will not give my information to the owner of the store or even reimburse me some of the medical expenses. [redacted] keeps hanging up on my face every time I call. In August and September I was promised reimbursement in October they change their minds and keep hanging up on me. Bad business.Desired Settlement: $478.00 medical expenses

On June *, 2014 my son purchased a teacup Yorksheir Terriorer and two days after the dog was brought home we had to take the dog to the Vet because the dog was sick. I live in the bronx and 20 minutes away from the nearest Vet and we rushed our puppy to [redacted] where our dog was diagnosed with [redacted]. We called the Puppy Boutique after returning home with pup and asked if any of the litter that my pup came from was treated for [redacted] and [redacted] (AKA [redacted]) stated yes and that he thought the our pup had escaped it b/c he seemed real healthy. We had informed him that we were given [redacted] and that the pup was to return back to the vet on that Friday for a check up. [redacted] had asked what medication was he given and we told him and he said ok and that if there was ANYTHING ELSE WRONG TO CONTACT HIM IMMEDIATELY AND WE AGREED TO DO SO AND WE ALSO MADE IT VERY THAT IF WE HAD ANY OTHER PROBLEMS THAT WE WANTED OUR PUP REPLACED. We were also told by our vet that pup was under weight and that he should NOT HAVE BEEN SOLD TO US B/C OF THE [redacted] AND THAT THE STORE [redacted] SHOULD HAVE TOLD US THAT HIS LITTER WAS TREATED FOR [redacted] AND WE WEREN'T. When we informed [redacted] of this, he stated that [redacted] were always finding problems with his dogs and problems with reading his shot records that he provides to his customers and finally, that we should be careful because he had been approached before by their lawyers about telling customers about how he dislikes them and allegedly defaming them. First, I thought why are you telling me this and secondly, I felt that HIS ISSUES HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH ME AND WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH OUR PUP. So that friday as per vet instructions we took our pup back to the vet for a well pup check and to make sure that all of the [redacted] was cleared up and we got a clean bill of health so our vet decided to vaccinate the pup after reviewing the shot record that Puppy Boutique had provided us with. Our vet stated that due to the fact that there was NO SIGNATURE BY THE VET OR HOW MANY MLS OF THE VACCINES THE PUP RECEIVED FROM THE PUPPY BOUTIQUE'S VET THAT THEY WOULD HAVE TO RE-VACCINATE OUR PUP. The Puppy Boutique ONLY GAVE US COPIES OF THE VACCINES NOT AN ACTUAL SHOT RECORD, WE WERE PROVIDED WITH VERY HEALTH HISTORY ON THE PUP AND WERE WE NOTIFIED ABOUT ANY MEDICAL PROBLEMS THAT THE PARENTS MAY HAVE OR BEEN TREATED FOR, WE DID NOT EVEN GET A BIRTH CERTIFICATE JUST A COPY OF A PIECE PAPER STATING WHEN HE WAS BORN HOWEVER, WE COULD OBTAIN IT AT OUR EXPENSE. ALSO WE WERE INFORMED ABOUT [redacted] WHICH THE PUPPY BOUTIQUE WOULD NOT COVER IF OUR PUP DIED FROM THAT.

Our pup was fine for exactly one week (acting normal) and on Sunday June **, 2014 we had to RUSH OUR PUP TO THE VCA (ANIMAL SPECIALITY CENTER) WHERE HE WAS DIGNOSED WITH [redacted] IN ONE OF HIS LUNGS AND THAT IT HAD SYSTEMED FROM THE [redacted]. We did every thing possible including to spending approxiatemately $4,000.00 in hospital bills to save his life. When the hospital said that we had to pay an additional two thousand dollars we were heart broken at the fact that we did not have it. So on Monday June **,2014 we contacted [redacted] and told him what happened and we told him that the pup was going to have to be returned back to him of which he agreed. We also told him that had his vet been opened we would have stablized the pup and taken him there but because of the seriousness of situation we went to the closest Vet, ours. He stated that he understood and that he realized that we did everything possible. WE FOUND OUT THROUGH [redacted] THAT OUR PUP WAS GOING TO BE WATCHED IN SHIFTS AROUND THE CLOCK BY HIS EMPLOYEES UNTIL HIS VET OPENED NEXT DAY. We told [redacted] that our vet stated that if the pup stayed at home that he would not make it b/c he needed to be on IV's and breathing treatments around the clock but that it was alright for him to be transferred back to the Puppy Boutique where WE THOUGHT THAT HE WAS GOING TO BE UNDER THE CARE OF A VET. WE HAD EXPLAINED TO [redacted] THAT WE WERE WILLING TO TAKE THE PUP TO HIS VET AND HE STATED [redacted] C HIS VET WAS CLOSED. INSTEAD HE HAD ONE OF HIS EMPLOYEES STAY BEHIND TO RECEIVE THE ANIMAL AND SHE STATED "OH! I THOUGHT THAT YOU WERE BRINGING ME A DEAD DOG" . MY DAUGHTER HANDED THE DOG OVER AND INFORMED HER THAT HE WAS DUE FOR ANOTHER DOSE OF [redacted] AND ANOTHER BREATHING TREATMENT. MY DAUGHTER STATED THAT SHE WAS VERY UNCARING AND WENT TO PUT THE PUP IN BACK AND WAS MORE WORRIED ABOUT DOING PAPERWORK THAN THE ANIMAL. WHEN I CALLED TO FIND OUT HOW MY PUP WAS DOING ON TUESDAY, [redacted] TOLD ME THAT HE HAD AN [redacted] AND THAT HE JUST NEEDED MORE [redacted] AND THAT THE PUPPY BOUTIQUE DID NOT KNOW WHAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT. WHILE TALKING TO [redacted] I ASKED THAT ONCE THE PUP WAS STABLE COULD WE GO AND SEE HIM AND WE WERE ABURPTLY TOLD NO, WE WERE TOLD THAT WE WERE NOT EVEN ALLOWED TO SEND HIM HIS BED OR A TOY AND THIS WAS JULY *,2014. ON WEDNESDAY JULY *, 2014 I CALLED TO SEE HOW OUR LITTLE GUY WAS DOING AND HE SAID THAT HIS VET SAID THAT HE DID IN FACT HAVE [redacted] IN THE ONE LUNG AND THAT IT WAS GOING TO TAKE SOME TIME. I ASKED [redacted] IF THE DOG WAS GOING TO SURVIVE AND IN THE INEVENT THAT HE DIDN'T WHAT WOULD BE THE PLAN IF HE DIDN'T. I KEPT REMINDING [redacted] THAT WE HAD HAD PROBLEMS WITH OUR PUP SINCE WE BROUGHT HIM HOME AND THAT HE HAS KNOWN ABOUT IT FOR SOME TIME AND THAT WE WOULD LIKE A REPLACEMENT PUP IF ANYTHING HAPPENED TO OURS. HE SAID THAT WE WOULD TALK ABOUT IT WHEN AND IF THAT TIME CAME. [redacted] AND I REMAINED IN CONTACT UP UNTIL JULY *,2014. Because of the Holiday and being told that the pup looked like he should be home on the following Wednesday we DID NOT SPEAK TO [redacted] FOR TWO DAYS, MIND YOU THAT EVERYTIME THAT I SPOKE TO [redacted] IT WAS USUALLY OUR FAMILY MAKING CONTACT WITH HIM FIRST AND HIS RESPONSE WAS ALWAYS "I WAS FIXING TO CALL YOU" . SO ON MONDAY JULY *,2014 AT APPROXIMATELY 1:00 OR 1:30P.M. I HAD NOT HEARD FROM [redacted] AND WHEN I ASKED HOW HE WAS DOING HE SAID VERY UNCARING AND CAUSUALLY HE DIED LAST NIGHT AT 3:00 A.M. AND WE HAD TOLD [redacted] THAT WE DID NOT CARE WHAT TIME IT WAS TO CALL US IF SOMETHING HAPPENED TO OUR PUP. [redacted] STARTED TELLING ME THAT HIS VET STATED THAT IT WAS THE VACCINES THAT HAD KILLED OUR PUP AND THAT I NEEDED TO SUE OUR VET & HOSPITAL. AT FIRST, [redacted] STATED THAT HE DID NOT KNOW IF HIS BREEDER WOULD REPLACE THE PUP BUT THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THURSDAY JULY **,2014. THIS IS WHERE OUR NIGHTMARE WITH [redacted] STARTED ALL OVER AGAIN. WHEN I ASKED ABOUT A REPLACEMENT PUP I WAS TOLD THAT WE WERE PASSED THE 14 DAY BUSINESS DAY RULE & PLUS [redacted] FAILED TO TELL US ABOUT THE 180 DAY RULE REGUARDING OUR PUP. HOWEVER, [redacted] INSISITED ON PUSHING THE 14 BUSINESS DAY PART AND LEFT OUT THE LAW THAT STATES AMENDED JAUNARY 2014 WHERE IT STATES THAT IF THE ANIMAL IS UNFIT TO BE SOLD THAT I HAVE UP TO 180 DAYS FROM THE DAY OF PURCHASE FOR ANIMALS WITH [redacted]. WITHIN SECONDS AFTER CLEARING UP [redacted] CALLED BACK AND HE STATED THAT B/C HE DOES ALOT OF BUSINESS WITH HIS BREEDER THAT HE WAS 90% SURE THAT WE WOULD GET A REPLACEMENT PUP AND I ASKED HIM NOT TO PROMISE ME SOMETHING THAT HE WAS NOT GOING TO DELIVER ON AND HE STATED TO ME THAT HE WAS CONFIDENT THAT I WOULD HAVE A PUP. [redacted] STATED THAT HE HAD TO TALK TO THE BREEDER AND THAT WOULD HAVE TO BE WHEN THE STORE WAS OPEN ON THURSDAY JULY **, 2014 BUT THIS IS SUPPOSE TO BE A 7 DAY A WEEK STORE. FRIDAY, JULY **,2014 I SPOKE TO [redacted] AND HE STATED THAT HE STILL HAD NOT SPOKEN TO THE BREEDER AND THAT HE WAS NOW NOT EVEN SURE IF HE WAS GOING TO REPLACE THE PUP AFTER TELLING ME ON WEDNESDAY JULY *,2014 THAT HE WAS GUARANTEEING ME THAT HE WOULD WITH A 90% . ACCORDING TO [redacted] WITH GREAT INSISTANCE TOLD ME THAT I NEEDED TO SUE MY VET & HOSPITAL B/C THEY ARE A MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR COMPANY BECAUSE THEY WERE STEALING MY MONEY FROM THE CHARGES THAT THEY CHARGED FOR MY DOGS STAY. I TOLD [redacted] THAT I FELT THAT HE WAS PUTTING MY FAMILY IN THE MIDDLE OF HIS DISPUT WITH OUR VET AND THAT WE DID NOT GET THE DOG FROM THEM BUT HIM AND B/C OF HIS IRRESPONSIBLITY AND NOT HONORING HIS CONTRACT THAT HE WAS CREATING UNNECESSARY STRESS I THAT DID NOT NEED TO BE THERE. IT REALLY IS NOT THE MONEY BUT THE REPLACEMENT PUP, MY PUPPY WAS AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMAL AND HE DID WONDERS IN OUR HOME AND I WAS GETTING BETTER AND NOW THINGS ARE REALLY BAD AGAIN. UPON DOING SOME RESEARCH WITH YOUR COMPANY I AM FINDING THAT [redacted] ALSO GOES BY THE NAME [redacted] DEPENDING WHAT WEBSITE YOU CALL. PUPPY BOUTIQUE ALSO HAS LOCKED DOORS AND YOUR PROHIBITED FROM TAKING PICTURES IN THE STORE AND THEY SCREEN ALL OF THEIR CALLS. THERE ARE MORE THAN TWO PUPPIES PER CAGE AND ALSO HAVE THE MALE & FEMALES IN THE SAME CAGE NOT TO MENTION THAT THE INITIAL RABBIES IS NOT GIVEN BY TIME OF PURCHASE. WHEN MY DAUGHTER ASKED TO SEE THE ANIMAL HANDLER LICENSE SHE WAS RUSHED TO GET OUT OF THE STORE BY THE SALES CLERK. ALSO UPON RECEIVING MY PUP'S STATE REGISTRATION PAPERS, MY PUP'S SIR IS DIFFERENT (MY PUP HAS TWO DADS), & RESTRIGATION CERTIFICATION DOES NOT EVEN HAVE A STATE SEAL AND FINALLY THE PLACE WHERE I GOT THE STATE REGISTRATION FROM GOOGLES BACK TO SOMEONE'S HOUSE. OUR FAMILY IS ALSO AWARE OF THE MULTIPLE CONSUMER AFFAIRS COMPLAINTS THAT ARE LISTED NOT TO MENTION ALL OF THE Revdex.com COMPLAINTS THAT [redacted] HAS NOT ANSWERED. IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE WITH HIM IS NOW APPARENTLY CLOSED TWO DAYS AND INTENSIONALLY IGNORES YOUR CALL. MY QUESTION TO THE Revdex.com IS WHY IS HE STILL IN BUSINESS, I HAVE SPOKEN TO A LAWYER AND HAVE BEEN ADVISED THAT HE IS TO REPLACE MY PUP IMMEDIATELY AND I NEED YOUR HELP IN DOING SO. I ALSO KNOW THAT HIS COMPANY ALSO GOES UNDER SEVERAL NAMES WITH ALL OF THE BUSINESS GOING BACK TO [redacted]. ON JULY **, 2014 WE ARE TOLD TO CALL AGAIN AT 4:00 TO FIND OUT ABOUT PICKING UP A REPLACEMENT PUP FOR THURSDAY JULY **,2014 B/C [redacted] STATES THAT THE STORE WILL BE CLOSED ON JULY ** & ** THEREFORE, DENYING ME THE RIGHT TO A REPLACEMENT PUP ANYTIME BEFORE TUESDAY JULY **,2014. [redacted] WAS POLITELY ASKED NOT TO PLAY WITH MY EMOTIONS AND HE HAS DONE JUST THAT. WE DON'T CARE ABOUT THE MONEY ALL WE WANT IS A REPLACEMENT PUP HOWEVER, DUE TO [redacted]'S LATEST ACTIONS OF NOT WANTING TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER IN A TIMELY MATTER WE ARE NOW LOOKING INTO PLACING A LAW SUITE ON HIM & HIS COMPANY IF HE DOES NOT COMPLY BY THE ** OF JULY 2014. THIS PLACE SERIOUSLY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY B/C HE HAS STOLEN MY MONEY AND MY PUP IS NO LONGER WITH US ACCORDING TO HIM. OUR FAMILY HAS ALSO REQUESTED THE HOSPITAL NOTES FROM HIS VET AND HE REFUSES TO SUPPLY THEM TO US.

Review: Purchased a puppy from puppy petite on Jan/**/2014, took him to the vet, and vet determined the dog is unfit due to a [redacted], basically the store sold us unhealthy dog, and it would cost more than the dog worth to dog fixed.here is what they advertise.WE OFFER A ONE YEAR HEALTH GUARANTEE, 2 FREE VET EXAMS, AND PROVIDE 14 DAYS FOR YOU TO HAVE THE PUPPY CHECKED OUT BY A VET OF YOUR CHOOSING TO CONFIRM THE HEALTH OF YOUR NEW PUPPY. OUR BREEDERS HAVE BEEN BREEDING FOR NO LESS THAN 10 YEARS AND DO NOT INBREED OR LINE BREED ANY OF OUR PUPPIES. WE OFFER A 24 HOUR CUSTOMER HELPLINE IF YOU NEED ADVICE OR INFORMATION ON YOUR LITTLE ONE. OUR PUPPIES ARE VACCINATED ACCORDING TO AGE AND DEWORMED ON SCHEDULE.Desired Settlement: as per state of NY and NJ law, if the dog is unfit, the seller has to pay to have him fixed, and it will cost me more than what I paid for the dog (which is 665.00 USD) to have him fixed.

Review: I purchased a puppy on March **, 2013 after taking the dog to my local vet w/in 5 days of purchase I was told he was sick, he had a [redacted], after first treatment failed more tests were done and it was determined my dog had MANGE a skin condition a new puppy should not have. I was reimbursing for my first round of treatment. I contacted them again and said the dog was even sicker they told me I needed a letter from my vet "Veterinary Certification of Unfitness", once I got the letter they told me. Well you didn't take the dog to our vets. I said you never told me I needed to do that. They said they would not reimburse me for the dog or additional medical bills and "Good luck fighting it, we are in NY and you are in NJ” our laws are different. I have not been in touch w/ them since. I kept them informed the entire time I was treating my dog, I have all the bill and emails. I feel this place is just a puppy mill and they are not selling healthy dogs. I have been contact with the owner of my dogs brother and her dog has had several health issues as well.Desired Settlement: I wish to be reimbursed for my dog that cost $492 and additional medical costs of over $200.
