Hi, Revdex.com Staff- First, let us say thanks for the work you do We appreciate those who keep an eye on business quality and are usually on the good receiving end of praise! This is the first Revdex.com complaint we've had in our 11+ years in business We've already resolved this issue with the customer and have attached some e-mail correspondence showing that he's now satisfied with what's happenedHe has told us he was withdrawing his credit card complaint and we hope he will do the same with this one Mr [redacted] bought a mailed gift certificate from us on December 15th, which we mailed out the next morning, December 16th Our staff members recall this getting mailed and we have attached a screenshot of the postage log showing it was sent Unlike most of our shipments, this was a simple First Class Mail envelope that doesn't come with delivery confirmation tracking, else we'd also include a tracking number as well On our website we say that regular shipments can be 4-business days and longer during the holiday rush, recommending Expedited (Priority Mail) during the holiday rush to give packages a better chance of quick delivery This package was ordered Standard shipping Even so, we *would [redacted] expect a First Class envelope to normally have arrived before Christmas if shipped on the 16th, though this was apparently a record shipping volume year and it seems USPS has taken longer than to deliver this envelope! [redacted] e-mailed us on Wednesday 12/to ask where the certificate wasWe replied with details and also offered to e-mail him a PDF of the certificate so he could print or forward that to the recipient Apparently our web host's new e-mail system that just went live filtered his reply until we disabled some new filters, thus we didn't immediately know he'd replied to say yes to the PDF offer The next day we received a rather upset e-mail from ***, threatening with a deadline of one hour to respond to him else he would file several types of complaints with Revdex.com, his credit card company, and even the VA We're really love our customers and are known as a good example of a customer service oriented company so we aren't used to seeing this kind of response! Of course with staff off for Christmas eve day and holiday volumes it was about ninety minutes before we even saw this e-mail Long story short, once we knew [redacted] wanted the PDF version sent, we sent it immediately and he's good with this Odds are the mailed version will also arrive in a day or so or might have already arrived Everything is now amicably handled The last reply we have from [redacted] is this: "Thank YouThat is my correct mailing addressI will cancel my disputed transactionI am a distribution clerk for USPS and a 1st class letter shouldn't take more than days but who knows these days." We hope this resolves the question Please let us know how this gets handled from here! Thank you - The Purple Store Staff

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meSincerely, [redacted]

Hi, Revdex.com Staff-
First, let us say thanks for the work you do.  We appreciate those who keep an eye on business quality and are usually on the good receiving end of praise!  This is the first Revdex.com complaint we've had in our 11+ years in business.
We've already resolved this issue with the...

customer and have attached some e-mail correspondence showing that he's now satisfied with what's happened. He has told us he was withdrawing his credit card complaint and we hope he will do the same with this one.
Mr. [redacted] bought a mailed gift certificate from us on December 15th, which we mailed out the next morning, December 16th.  Our staff members recall this getting mailed and we have attached a screenshot of the postage log showing it was sent.  Unlike most of our shipments, this was a simple First Class Mail envelope that doesn't come with delivery confirmation tracking, else we'd also include a tracking number as well.
On our website we say that regular shipments can be 4-8 business days and longer during the holiday rush, recommending Expedited (Priority Mail) during the holiday rush to give packages a better chance of quick delivery.  This package was ordered Standard shipping.  Even so, we *would* expect a First Class envelope to normally have arrived before Christmas if shipped on the 16th, though this was apparently a record shipping volume year and it seems USPS has taken longer than normal to deliver this envelope!
[redacted] e-mailed us on Wednesday 12/23 to ask where the certificate was. We replied with details and also offered to e-mail him a PDF of the certificate so he could print or forward that to the recipient.  Apparently our web host's new e-mail system that just went live filtered his reply until we disabled some new filters, thus we didn't immediately know he'd replied to say yes to the PDF offer.
The next day we received a rather upset e-mail from [redacted], threatening with a deadline of one hour to respond to him else he would file several types of complaints with Revdex.com, his credit card company, and even the VA.  We're really love our customers and are known as a good example of a customer service oriented company so we aren't used to seeing this kind of response!
Of course with staff off for Christmas eve day and holiday volumes it was about ninety minutes before we even saw this e-mail.  Long story short, once we knew [redacted] wanted the PDF version sent, we sent it immediately and he's good with this.  Odds are the mailed version will also arrive in a day or so or might have already arrived.  Everything is now amicably handled.
The last reply we have from [redacted] is this:
"Thank You. That is my correct mailing address. I will cancel my disputed transaction. I am a distribution clerk for USPS and a 1st class letter shouldn't take more than 3 days but who knows these days."
We hope this resolves the question.  Please let us know how this gets handled from here!
Thank you.
