The Quad Apartments Reviews (%countItem)

I have resided in this apartment since Aug. 2019. Have had many issues and some have been resolved but nothing in a timely manner. I have had soft/rotten base-board in bathroom floor near tub since last Sept. 2019. Also wobbly toilet. One side of closet door has been broken since move in resulting in no closet door at all on one side. Nothing has been repaired just looked at. Mold/mildew has grown on bathroom cabinet and into closet bedroom wall (the other side of bathroom tub wall)and baseboards and closet carpet has been wet. Clearly mold issues from all the dampness. I brought this to property managers attention. It is like this because of nothing being fixed months ago. I have pics also. On April 20th this was brought to property managers attention again. Past experiences have been leaving messages and more messages and getting no replies. So, now we want thing properly fixed asap. I sent a certified letter requesting out of my lease due to health environmental issues with mold. She denied this request. Her option was fixing it or moving me to another room. At this time with Corona I do not believe sharing a community kitchen and living room with others I do not know is wise. Conversations took place about fixing it properly by removing the cabinet etc. and new trim and closet carpet and closet door. The door was broke but from sitting on ground, bottom of door had lots of water/mold stained on it. They just want to paint over the mold on the cabinet. They did fix the wobbly toilet. (They need to figure out the water leak source.)I want a new cabinet installed in this apartment. New base trim and closet carpet ripped up. I did not sign a lease for an apartment in this condition. They took the moldy door out and set it out in front of my apt. Things are ordered is what I am told. Could take weeks. Mold/mildew for weeks? This needs to be done asap. Or I need to be compensated. I also have onset asthma. I have notified the corporate office Asset Living in Houston, Texas.

Desired Outcome

Desired Settlement ID: Repair Baseboard and cabinet and closet carpet replaced immediately. If they do not have supplies then they need to go elsewhere and buy/purchase the necessary supplies to complete the job quicker. I have 3 months left on my lease and I cannot stay here with mold and what kind is it? If they cannot get supplies in asap then maybe have a mold consultant come out and see what kind it is. Repair now or release me from my lease. I need a healthy environment.

Vehicle was towed, no one in office to report to. Vehicle with sticker was wrecked, sticker couldn't be removed and put on replacement vehicle.
Original vehicle was wrecked, couldn't remove sticker to put on replacement vehicle. No one in office to talk to and replacement vehicle was towed and staff said that nothing they could do. That he could have parked in the parking lot at the grocery store and walked is what they suggested. I want my money back for the tow $250.00.

Desired Outcome

I want a refund for the cost of the towing of my vehicle, $250.00. No one was in the office or contact info posted in a convenient location. 2 of the "managers" live on property but that is not common knowledge for the residents in case of an emergency.

This company is posting a $385.00 rental but because of all the fees ($100.00 yearly, $15.00 a month insurance, $30.00 parking, and fines of all sorts, the rent is much much higher.

I was in the hospital to have a stent done on August 1st. Because I was late getting that amount in, I was charge several $50.00 late fees. After four different times of sending my homeowners to cover my apartment, they kept something else that wasn't right. I asked for a re-imbursement but it was denied on the bulk of the charges.

In addition, this facility is not secure. Gates are left open, unauthorized vehicles are on campus, and cars park anyway they want to.

The office staff was rude and very unhelpful. The Corporate office of Foresite Realty was also not helpful in resolving this. I deserve an apology from one office worker who talked down to me and totally disrespected me. I am a senior adult (age 62). Her treatment of me border lined senior harassment and abuse.

Desired Outcome

Desired Settlement ID: Refund My wife has paid all those late fees so that we wouldn't be billed another $50.00. We want all that money re-imbursed.
