A charge was placed on my credit card without my authorization or knowledge.I went to business and requested a manicure and pedicure. I was given a manicure and pedicure. The young lady who provided the manicure and pedicure is also the lady who rang up the total for the services I was provided. She told me the price was $25. I paid the total on my credit card and added a tip of $6, totaling the cost to $31. Over one week later, my card was charged again for another $10 without my knowledge or authorization. I called the business to inquire why I was charged again. The individual who spoke with me informed me that I was charged an additional $10 because the Manicure and Pedicure should have been $35, instead of $25. I told the individual that I was speaking with that I was told the price was $25 and I paid the price that was told to me and rang up at the time. I also informed the individual that I did not authorize the business to charge my credit card an additional $10 without my knowledge. She repeated that the charge should have been $35 instead of $25, I repeated the amount I was told and rang up for was $25 and informed her that it was unlawful to charge my credit card without my authorization. I asked if they would remove the charge, and she said I would need to speak with the manager. I asked for the manager to contact me. The manager was supposed to be in the following day, however, I was not contacted. Desired SettlementI would like a refund for the charges ($10) that were placed on my credit card without my authorization. The same thing happened to the person I was with at the time the services were rendered. I would like to request a refund for her on her behalf also.
