[redacted]DOCUMENT ATTACHED[redacted]
May 26, 2016Revdex.com PO Box 1000DuPont, WA 98327RE: [redacted]Dear [redacted]We received a letter from the customer on May 10, 2016 giving the same information that you received. I was looking into the matter and phoned the customer on May 17 to attempt a...

mutually acceptable remedy. I explained that I would be out of town on business for the next three days and gave my cell number. I did not hear back from the customer but did, obviously, hear from you. It's very disheartening when a customer does not allow us to research and then doesn't give the common courtesy of a phone call back to come to a reconciliation but resorts to outside entities for resolution. The old adage holds true in that "no good deed goes unpunished". We rushed in getting the customers trailer worked into our overly busy schedule as he was insistent that it was and emergency. In review of the file it is evident by the discoloration of the u-bolts that there was an attempt to soak them in an effort to loosen them for reuse. This attempt was unsuccessful therefore the u-bolts were cut. After the excessive use of the ratchet straps, they were frayed and the decision was made to cut them  and I have no objections to replacing those. I can't answer to the repair of the brakes as Iwas not given the opportunity to inspect or even talk to the customer about. As to the hole in the roof vent, this was not hit by a wrench from our shop, if the customer hit it with a wrench that is not our responsibility. However, Ido believe it was a branch and the customer did not know that the hole was there prior to bringing in the trailer. It is totally believable that a branch could have damaged in this way from backing trailer up then pulling ahead again and not damaging a portion of the outer edge or comer or any other part of roof. But Iwill pay for this in order to put this complaint to rest.

RE: ID [redacted] To Whom It May Concern: I have spoken with [redacted] regarding her complaints. While she has asked us to fix everything that should have been done, the only things she verbally communicated were the windshield wipers, the ice maker and a missing hub cap. Additionally, we have...

sent a technician to her at the RV park she is staying at numerous times to re-explain how to use various components of her motor home. I told [redacted] that we would fix the windshield wipers if she could make an appointment to bring in the motor home. To this date she has not made an appointment. I explained that the ice maker was working when she took delivery and she also confirmed that it was in working order and only recently stopped working. She seemed to understand that we can not guarantee these types of items on a coach that is 23 years old. I also went on to convey that when a person purchases an RV from us we do have the expectation that they have looked the coach over. There was one hub cap missing when she originally saw the motor home and agreed to purchase and it was still missing when she came to take delivery. She never mentioned that she would not accept without a hub cap and as I explained The RV Corral doesn't replace hub caps on 23 year old motor homes unless it has been negotiated from the beginning. She did admit she didn't notice it was gone until weeks after delivery. By the end of our conversation, [redacted] decided maybe she would try to trade in the motor home on a fifth wheel that may be better suited for herself and her son. I gave this information to her sales representative. He has tried to phone her numerous times and as of this date she has not responded. Thank you for your time and effort.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:   I had never even been in an RV until I decided to purchase this coach.  For them to think that someone who is brand new to the RV world would know how to check out an RV in full detail is beyond me.  I sold my house to live full time in this RV with my son and as we are going along we keep finding things that need to be fixed.  I did say in my original complaint that two of their employees had come out to where we were staying at to try and help us resolve some of these issues which I really appreciated, but in the end they were still not fixed properly. I understand that the RV was a 1993, but that does not give the RV Corral the right to not do what they should to make sure that everything on it is in the best condition possible when they sell it, even their salesman didn't notice that there was a hubcap missing until I told him about it and he has been in the business for many, many years so I don't think that it was just me. I didn't tell Tina everything that needed to be fixed, just the items that came to my mind when she called me, I had originally written to the owners about the situation, but Tina called me back instead so I assume that they never received my email.

I do feel that it was very dishonest of the manager to sell me the RV without telling me things like the hubcap was missing  which he knew when he bought it from the previous owner and he told me about when I contacted him to discuss the problems that I was having, but that he didn't bother to mention to me or to anyone else until after the fact.  I am not a service technician, I expected them to make sure that the RV was in the best shape possible and to go through everything on it, not leave it up to me to try and figure it out after I had bought it.  All I want is for them is to find me a nice and dependable Class C RV to trade straight across the board for the RV that I bought from them with cash and that I am afraid to drive.  I also have no money left after my purchasing the RV.  I did leave a phone message for Tina letting her know that I might be interested in getting a Fifth Wheel, but I need to have an RV that I can drive.

I have spoken to the salesman who sold me the coach many times since I bought this one and told him that a Class C RV would be easier for me to drive instead of the Class A because I was very anxious driving the Class A. Also, I made an appointment with their service department for next month, all they agreed to pay for was the windshield wipers, nothing else. The hubcap may not be a big deal to them, but to me as a consumer is is a big deal. I have spoken to their salesman many times and he is a very nice man and I appreciate his help, but the bottom line is that I need this to be resolved as soon as possible, and with no money left to purchase a more expensive RV and my credit not being as good as I would like for it to be especially since it keeps being checked, I am left with very few options.   All I want to do is have a reliable RV that I can drive and feel safe driving . I hope that this matter can be resolved very soon for everyone's sake.
  Sincerely,[redacted]

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
