The Radio Doctor of Madison, Inc. Reviews (2)

I bought a truck 4 years ago. I really wanted a nice stereo system installed so I went to radio Dr. in hopes they could help. After talking to the guy behind the counter I felt like my truck and I were in good hands......I couldn't of been more wrong. When I came back to pick up the truck I was shocked to find out that it was $1000 over what I thought it would be. I never got a quote and realized it was my fault so I bit the bullet and paid them. The system sounded ok not as good as I would think a $3000 system would sound but it was ok. I did notice the wires were showing in a lot of spots and I wasn't too fond of that. Within a month tho the system would shut down if I had the radio too loud for too long. I'm assuming the amp was overheating. I called them up and had to wait a few weeks for them to fit me into there schedule. I took it in and was told the wires running to the amp were a little wet and it was a common problem but they replaced them and everything should be good now. Well it wasn't. The problem never went away. A year passes and one of my front door speakers stops working. I did a little research into the problem myself and noticed both door speakers up front were just hanging by the wire. I took my truck back in and they replaced one of my speakers and rehung the other. Now come to today.....I have a friend that knows a lot about stereo systems and he said the amp that they used isn't powerful enough to run all the door speakers and the subs. And that there is a safty feature to shut the amp down when it got too hot. So I bought a new amp and installed it myself. After doing so I noticed the rear door speakers weren't working. After a fair amount of investigating I found out that the connectors that they used completely rotted out and the wires just fell off. When in the door I also noticed that all the existing speaker wire was still being used and I paid for all new wire to all the speakers. Another thing I noticed was that one of the speakers was missing a screw and the three screws that were used weren't even the same as each other..... And lastly all my door panels were missing screws to hold them on. Long story short I paid for quality work and got something that I could of done with my eyes closed.....This business is a complete joke!

They broke part of my dash and didnt put screws back in where there should. The woman there is a [redacted] and says her people wouldnt do that and they work on top end cars. There were wires cut and not removed. They wouldnt do aanything about it. People that work at autozone could more of a proper job.
