In response to the complaint, The Raffone Build and Design Group had to begun to encounter problems with [redacted] from the beginning of the projectAccording to terms of our contract they were to give a 2nd deposit by the start dateThey failed to do soWe began the work anywayIt took numerous calls and finally on 7/1, they gave a partial payment of $13,500, from the required balance of $16,000.Again after calling and requesting the balance they paid days laterSecondly, seven days into the project, we began to receive additional add-ons to the projectBy custom practice, we issued a change order requestAs per our contract, changes orders need to be paid up frontNo payment was received until again making calls for paymentWe eventually received payment over week laterThis caused a delay in the progressDuring the project, The [redacted] took several vacations, one of which was out of the countryWe needed their input on several critical issues to keep moving forward, but because of their location where unreachable by phone or emailThis put another delay caused by themWhile neglecting to communicate with us and giving us needed answers, without payment for change orders, we still facilitated the work for themOur contract had a final completion date of July 31, 2015, we still brought it to completion by that dateThey could not get final inspection because they failed to take care of the Fire Protection codeThis was to be taken care by them and not in the scope of our workWe had all our inspections complete by August 3, and were eligible to operate their business, but could not because they failed their Fire InspectionTo date, they are still in breach on contract because they still owe $4,

Secondly, seven days into the project, we began to receive additional add-ons to the project. By custom practice, we issued a change order request. As per our contract, changes orders need to be paid up front. No payment was received until again making calls for payment. We eventually received payment over 1 week later. This caused a delay in the progress. During the project, The [redacted] took several vacations, one of which was out of the country. We needed their input on several critical issues to keep moving forward, but because of their location where unreachable by phone or email. This put another delay caused by them. While neglecting to communicate with us and giving us needed answers, without payment for change orders, we still facilitated the work for them. Our contract had a final completion date of July 31, 2015, we still brought it to completion by that date. They could not get final inspection because they failed to take care of the Fire Protection code. This was to be taken care by them and not in the scope of our work. We had all our inspections complete by August 3, 2015 and were eligible to operate their business, but could not because they failed their Fire Inspection. To date, they are still in breach on contract because they still owe $4,173.33.
