Awful.
They don't actually do the work of "resolving" insurance payment issues. I've sent letters with documentation -- including a note from my pharmacist saying the claim had been resolved -- and the STILL send me requests for payment.
They need to be audited AGAIN.

My experience with Rawlings was negative, and I would urge anyone who is put in contact with them concerning a claim filled to the wrong insurance to contact their insurance directly, and refuse to deal with Rawlings. I was assured that my misfiled claim could be reversed by Rawlings, however, after weeks of going back and forth with Rawlings in phone conversations and messages, I asked the representative if Rawlings could reverse the claim misfiled to a deductible, and I finally found out that they couldn't. My representative refused to offer me a solution. I spent WEEKS contacting the place of service, billing department, my medical insurance, and Rawlings, only to be told that Rawlings could not help only when I explicitly asked. Rawlings does not train their employees to effectively communicate and understand their customers. My representative was condescending and I wasted hours dealing with a company who refused to explicitly state that they could not assist. While I do think the trouble resulted from poor employee training on behalf of my insurance company and Rawlings, I still urge you to avoid Rawlings at all costs if you have been in an accident and have had your insurance misfiled.

The Rawlings Company has sent me several questionnaires for a supposed doctor visit in January 2017 that never took place. I disregarded their first 4 obnoxious letters but in the fifth I notice that The Rawlings Company has stated that if I am to ignore this letter the will notify my health insurance company that I failed to comply (which could effect my health plan) and that further action could be necessary. I finally call them (after finding their number online, since they had not provided it on any of the letters they sent me) and explain that not only do I have no idea who this doctor they're claiming I saw is but I had absolutely no appointments of any kind on the day in question. Also, the doctors I the did actually treat me at the time had been paid and I signed several forms saying that my neck pain was not caused by an accident. Instead of apologizing or even attempting to fix the screw up the woman I talked to in the subrogation division just said that she would mark no injury FOR A VISIT THAT NEVER HAPPENED and that since I had called them the matter SHOULD be resolved. With no further attempt at righting their wrong or apologizing for all of the harassing letters I received I got a "Have a nice day. Bye."

In January 2016, I was involved in a collision. I was immediately contacted by Rawlings Company regarding the accident. I provided them with the name of my attorney and their contact information. Throughout the year, I reached out to them to find out the file number. By the end of the year, my attorney reached out to them several times and they never responded. In February, I received a demand letter from Rawlings. I contacted *** immediately via email and requested supporting documentation. I never received it. I was not contacted again until May 24, I immediately called them back and left a message with *** Z. I did not received a return call until June 1. On that date, ***, was lied, repeatedly regarding contact, regarding my case. When I pointed out that he lied and proceeded to correct him he became abusive, refusing to pronounce my name correctly, refusing to use my preferred pronoun despite repeated requests. He yelled at me! Talked over me! Repeatedly was nasty, accusing me of fraud, and other illegal activity. This makes me wonder if they are completely legitimate. Their tactics are quite similar to that of a debt collector who is attempting to collect on a debt long since discharged. Needless to say the phone call ended with me in tears because of the micro-aggression of this man. He was and is horrible. I asked him for the name of his supervisor, and he said, he was the supervisor, I asked for the name of his supervisor again saying everyone has a boss, and he throws out "***" and refused to give me his last name. I should not be treated like this by any reputable business. He should be immediately terminated. I repeatedly asked for documentation and time to review it. He told me I had to pay them on the spot. Continued to make statements like "you are refusing to pay", every time I would correct his lies, he would become more abusive. I just ended the call. He was too much!
