Thank you for contacting me regarding your concerns After reviewing this complaint, I determined that the issue was two-fold which I will address: Honest Advertising – it was stated that we advertise “ALL our greeting cards 50% off” We do not intentionally advertise ALL greeting cards half off – we go to print with “50% off greeting cards every day” However, I discovered today that our store door sign does say ALL cards We will remove the ALL today and make sure all of our store signs are correct If there is an ad that stated this it was inadvertent and we will try to discover where they are and fix it We do offer over 3,cards at 50% off every day and all of our INDIVIDUAL cards are sold at 50% off suggested retail or more.a There are a VERY few cards that are not 50% off We do have a line of boxed cards that our customers love – we are unable to sell them at 50% off as the supplier does not determine the suggested retail We also are unable to sell Leanin’ Tree packaged note cards at 50% off due to the constraints of margin of this line – however, our customers love them Both of these lines are clearly marked with a yellow “our price” sticker so the customers are aware of the price.b We also offer a line of greeting cards that are greater than 50% off suggested retail We retail these at $ The Halloween pack of cards priced at $ This was a training error with a new employee and SHOULD have been sold at 50% off You were correct We are addressing with all of our employees immediately I will contact K Corgiat directly and offer a refund and personal apology for the confusion After talking with the employee, I discovered that the confusion was because the cards were packaged She has been informed and all transactions moving forward will be priced correctlyThank you again for bringing this to our attention We will address these concerns and ensure this does not happen again It was never our intent to be dishonest or misleading We work hard to bring a great line/selection of greeting cards and gifts to our customers and great customer service is our goal Please let me know if this response meets your expectations and resolves your complaint Also, if this complaint is published publically is there a way that we can respond in a positive manner?
