The real tree service

We hired them to cut down a dead tree in our back yard and to trim up the trees touching the roof as well as the small trees surrounding the dead tree. He said he could do it for $800 and if we found someone cheaper he would do it for $600 he said he would even stack up the wood for us said he could come on Sunday Sunday passed by heard nothing days after contacting him and excise after excuse he finally came by and only cut down the little trees said he would be back to cut down the big tree. Never heard back kept asking when they would be back no reply. Said I was in happy finally his wife messaged me and said I was on the schedule for Friday morning if we paid in full the remaining amount . I agreed to pay the remaining 300 after I saw the work done. Thursday night I asked for a time she said she would get back to me I asked her this morning if they were still coming she asked if I had the money I said yes once we see the work. She never replied I said okay I thought I you were coming this morning she then said they would no longer be working with us. They never finished the work and the work that was done was not worth the $300 we payed them as a down payment.
