This company lied to me up front multiple times about out of pocket expenses that would be incurred due to my son's stay. A year and a half later they have made no genuine attempt to resolve this matter in a satisfactory way. Just got a bill again last week, even though they assured me up front that my insurance would cover the costs and that I would owe no more than what was left on my deductible ( which was $83.00 and change).

I wouldn't recomend this place to my dog! All the people there act like they don't even want to be thereIf you talk to someone about the place, it sounds greatIt is nothing like what I was toldTotal advertisingThe staff is unfriendly and uncooperative especially when I told them I was leavingThey tried to keep my money that I had on me when I checked in and now nearly a week later I am still getting the run around about my day supply of medicine that I checked in with that I couldn't get before leavingCompletely unproffesional and a total waste of time and money

The HR department is horrible! The agency lies! Dana, Richard and Jodi are a joke! The web site lies! The place is sick! Don't go there!!!

Unprofessional, disorganized, no communication Most staff treat clients poorly with no dignity or respect Great place if you're young and looking for a spring break atmosphere For those serious about recovery this is not the place to be

The Recovery Village was an awesome experienceIt changed my whole outlook on life and it brought me a new found happinessBefore I came there I was a messMy life was unmanageable, but they taught me a new way of lifeNow I am able to chase my dreamsGreat place

My experience at The Recovery Village was life changingI am a recovering alcoholic from New Jersey and the care and therapy I received at TRV was excellentMy first experience in treatment, while positive, did not compare to TRVI have now transitioned into sober living, became employed, and I am attending meetings daily I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to learn how to live again with TRV's help

I wouldn't recomend this place to my dog! All the people there act like they don't even want to be there. If you talk to someone about the place, it sounds great. It is nothing like what I was told. Total false advertising. The staff is unfriendly and uncooperative especially when I told them I was leaving. They tried to keep my money that I had on me when I checked in and now nearly a week later I am still getting the run around about my 90 day supply of medicine that I checked in with that I couldn't get before leaving. Completely unproffesional and a total waste of time and money.

I stayed at TRV for 30 days, and found it to be a very positive experience. I'd never have been able to stay clean by myself for 30 days, and one would be hard pressed to find a better environment to do so. Most of the staff (nurses, techs, therapists, etc) were caring and skilled, many are former addicts who understand, and the community in general (including the other patients) comes together for an amazing environment that supports recovery. The 3 classes a day, the group therapy in the mornings, the group daily goals meeting in the mornings, the daily AA/NA meeting, and recreational options such as the gym/pool/sand volleyball, all make it a positive experience. It's pretty nice too, with nice rooms and beds, nice TVs in the common areas, a big screen movie projector where we watched new movies off VUDU Friday and Saturday nights, and a lot of other amenities like options to do yoga.

I am so grateful for the time I had at TRV. The facility was so well run from top to bottom. It has just an amazing staff and some of the most inspirational counselors. I have nothing negative to say about it.

As a former employee of The Recovery Village I can now speak without being retaliated against. This place was good when I was first employeed there. They had knowledgable, professional staff. Now the company and upper management has ran the facility into the ground. Cutting staff without notice. They commit insurance fraud on a daily basis. It is all about how good of insurance you have. They do not have the patients best interest in mind at all. Patients have complaints and nothing is ever addressed appropriately. Patients have sex, get in fights, and treat the staff poorly and there is no disciplinary action taken.
