Review: I paid [redacted] principal designer $750.00 for interior decorating she never completed job, acknowledges she received the money $250.00 check and $500.00 cash for which I have receipt. No bill ever supplied no refund information, no detail of hours worked nothing except an email acknowledging receipt of money and claim of having used $350.00 in services and that she does owes me $400.00 for which she will not return my money. She sent email on May [redacted] telling me of no refund policy and will send gift certificate. I do not want a gift certificate to her store that is not what I purchased. I hired her to design room and no refund was never discussed nor did she every supply any documentation other than card acknowledging cash received and she never sent gift certificate anyway. I totally dispute her no refund policy.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back I have all documentation in emails and receipt for cash and canceled check to back up all of my complaint. It is a disgrace to knowingly and willfully keep money for which you acknowledge you did not work for nor provide any bills, etc.

Kindly note that I made numerous attempts to meet with [redacted]. She was either not available or never responded.

Initially she paid me for two visits which I made to her home. I then worked up extensive plans for her which she did not see because she did not return my calls or was not available.

She paid for the work however she claims that she was not aware that I have a no refund policy that I did not document. Therefore, I have sent her $400 even though I lost my investment in the work I did.

I received the response from Red Shutters [redacted] and I reject her comments as totally false. I have been requesting a refund since March of 2013 and to date have not received. she claimed to have sent a gift certificate months ago which she also never did.

Numerous attempts were not made to meet me, in fact she sent me an email Oct **, 2012. (copy attached) she apologized for and I quote 'sorry I have not been in touch I have not forgotten about you I confess I have lost momentum on the project" these are her words. I tried repeatedly to resolve this I have her every opportunity to do the right thing. I went to her store to try and see her personally in January 2013, because she did not respond to me. She did not draw up extensive plans because she could not reach me absurd and totally false. which is it she lost momentum or she drew up plans?

I have not received check I have been waiting 7 months for. I have entire refund of $750.00 for all my work, time and effort and her lack of work, professionalism and the disrespectful treatment I have received form this most unpleasant experience. The $250.00 that was paid to Ms. [redacted] on her visit to my home was to be put towards my order which never happened because she did not do the work and no order placed. I will accept nothing but full refund. How can you claim to have a no refund policy when did you not do the work, Document anything and then keep monies you were paid?

I only one who lost here is me, all my time and investment and having to start all over & hire someone else. Ms. [redacted] audacity to claim she lost her investment after all she had put me through is an outrage that I will not tolerate especially when I have her every opportunity to make it right and she chose to carry this on for over a year many untruthful explanations and lack of work is totally unacceptable.
