I made an appointment with this company for the morning. They failed to show up nor did they call. I contacted them and they said they don't move quickly in the morning. I told them I was busy that afternoon so I'd call to reschedule for tomorrow. They showed up in the afternoon, when I was leaving, so of course they couldn't enter the house. Now they are charging me a trade call fee. I didn't have an appointment. This is wrong and unethical. They didn't show up for the scheduled time.
My company was dispatched a service request from one of the many home warranty companies that I contract from. I scheduled with the homeowner with a 2 hour window. After arriving within the window I could see the homeowner outside but she refused service citing that she did not have a scheduled appointment. I did not wish to argue with her or anyone else for that matter and moved on to my next appointment. My company always conducts business in a professional manner and I immediately contacted the warranty company which has the contract with the homeowner and informed them of what had transpired. The homeowner paid the warranty company online for a service call and did not have any money exchanged with my company at all. If the homeowner wishes to dispute anything about her fee paid she must speak directly with her warranty company and not the contractor who attempted to service her appliance but was refused to do so.
