The Repair Man Reviews (3)

To anyone reading, I dove into my own business in the middle of July doing repairs, remodeling, and building personal things, with ideas only. For many customers, I continually am called for the next project, job, fix it, etc. I had one
helper I took with me from a previous employer. We were knocking out jobs and growing. I read my complaint. I agree with all the dates, what was discussed. I was in a huge remodel in Lorena when I was supposed to be wrapping up and getting to the job that I failed to make on time. My helper was diagnosed with tongue cancer and I worked day after day myself until finding all this out. I did call my customers and ask for a later start date three times. They were really ok with whenever I started, as long as it was done by Christmas. Through all this growing and running around jobs and setting up the next, I invested some of the down payment my customers paid up front. I never had a.cancellation before and I didn't even think it could happen. I was on fire. When my customers cancelled on me, I was short paying their money back. I had them scheduled for the whole month of December til break to spend some time with the kids. So when they cancelled the job. I was short to pay money back, that I invested in my business on equipment and a trailerI was taking every job I could find to make that money back to pay it back. I did tell my customers I was coming with it. I knew I would have it right back. A couple weeks go by and a detective called me and asked what happened. I told him I felt horrible for all this and was busting my butt to get it fixed. Through all this I learned a big lesson. I did pay the money back like I said I would. I was on Wacos Most wanted for the same thing. Out of over big and small jobs I did since on my own. I successfully completed every one of them. And every customer I worked for and continue to work for, will speak out for me and say......I exceeded their expectations. I'm hinest, nice, and they to give more than the customer expects every time. I don't know what impact this will have on my business. But I will continue to help people and make central Texas prettier, and make personal things that people cherish. It's an honor to be able to make improvements on people largest investment everyday. I take a lot of pride in what I do and don't cut people short of better. Thank you. *** ***
