I received a letter with ID #*** *** *** was issued a renewal offer 4/19/- this offer explains that a written day notice is required if he planned to vacate. Additionally, my staff contacting him asking if he planned to renew, go mtm or vacate on the following dates:
4/23, 5/4, ,5/14, 5/15, 5/17,5/24, 5/and 6/7. During the conversation on 5/28, Mr *** was inquiring about other communities we own near Pasadena. That day he stated he had accepted a job there and wanted to transfer. We provided him with the information he requested. We also reminded him again to provide a day notice of the day he would be vacating his apartment. He did not provide a written notice or a vacate date until 6/7/ In his complaint, he stated he witnessed crimes occurring that are outside of our community. We do not have any control over situations that occur off of our property. This includes his statement that he witnessed a group of people drinking outside the entrance of the community. The entrance is at a retail center. That group of people were in the retail center. Again this is not part of our property He complained that a sprinkler went off. This was never reported to the office. Also, it would be impossible for a fire sprinkler to go off without the alarm sounding. To my knowledge An alarm has never sounded for any garages in his area including his own He was not "nickel and dimed" nor did we violate the California Tenant Laws. He was provided a statement of his deposit, break down of charges, and copies of all receipts Please remove this complaint. It is littered with statements and is slander to our business *** *** Community Manager
