I am rejecting this response because:
This is a very nice response except for a couple of things
We never received a copy of the Rules and Regulations that the community speaks of despite asking for a copy of them many times from the office manager
There are empty parking spaces all over the community every night that say visitors parking painted on the groundNowhere near any of these spaces are there any posted signs that talk about getting towed if you don't have a permit, etclike they speak ofThe only sign is actually a small sign posted OUTSIDE the communityIf you are going to be towing people cars out of nice friendly empty parking spaces that say "Visitors parking" on them, at least have a sign posted in the near vicinity warning people that they might be towed if they park there
I stand by my original complaintMy community is still obviously in the wrong and still owes me $and not a penny lessBTW, I tried calling the towing company, left two messages with the manager, and he never called me backNow he is being all friendly with the Revdex.com all of a suddenThis is usually how towing companies workAlso, my complaint is not with the towing companyI am not asking the towing company to give me my money backThe towing company did what they were supposed to doIf I had a complaint with the towing company I would have filed the complaint with the towing companyI do not want a reimbursement from the towing companyThe complaint is with the communityThey made the mistake by not giving me the rule book, and by not putting up enough signageIf you want me to send you pictures of the nice friendly parking spots with no signs anywhere except for the nice "Visitor's parking" painted on the asphalt let me know, I will be glad to do so

in response to the complaint filed by Mr***.
We spoke to Mr*** the morning after the incident and explained that we use a third party towing company and we have no influence on what cars are being towed. As a Community, Oak Ranch MHC, has been growing very quickly. In the beginning, when we only had homes, we were able to drive around nightly and put warning tickets on all the non-permitted cars parked on the streets and in visitor parking and fine the residents. Now with over homes we asked *** *** if they could handle our illegal parking problems. They posted the appropriate towing signs at the entrance to the property and we sent out the attached flyer in resident bills notifying all residents of the towing by *** ***. We then gave our residents a day grace period before allowing the towing company to take any vehicles. During this grace period they put warning notices on guest and resident vehicles which would have been subject to towing
On the morning of August 14, 2014, we received our first notifications from *** *** that vehicles had been towed.
*** *** sends us an email the morning after they tow any vehicles with a picture of the vehicle and the reason the car was towed. On the night in question, two vehicles were towed from Oak Ranch. Attached please find the Resident Letter that was sent with the monthly invoice to residents. Also attached is a copy of the two email notifications we received from *** *** for vehicles towed during the night of August 13, 2014. One was a *** *** *** for No Permit or Visitor’s Pass and the other was a *** *** *** for the same reason.
As to Mr***’s assertion that we know what kind of car his son drives and singled him out for towing is absurd for the following reasons: 1) We have over cars in our community that are registered to our residents. Knowing where all those cars belong and who drives them would be a formidable challenge, let alone what cars the residents visitor’s drive. 2) None of the cars registered to the ***’s match the description of the cars towed that evening so how could we possibly know what car their son was driving. (See attached vehicles registered to the ***’s on the Parking Passes)
3) How could we possibly know what nights their son would come to visit? 4) More than one car was towed that night. 5) The Community of Oak Ranch has no communication with any of the drivers nor do we have any input or influence as to which cars are towed. Although we can empathize with Mr*** and every other resident who has had their cars towed, the reality is that each vehicle towed to date, including Mr***’s son, was properly towed due to non-compliance by an independent third party. As we told Mr*** the morning he came into the office, we are sorry to hear that your son’s car was towed but the towing company is not going to reimburse your fee because it did not have a visitor pass
We have a wonderful Community for families to live and Rules & Regulations to help keep it that way. Our job is to enforce those rules either first hand or through a third party like the towing company or our night security company. When residents are not in compliance, they get fined, cars towed, or police called depending on the infraction. The Rules & Regulations are enforced here at Oak Ranch and all residents know by either first or second hand experience or knowledge that there are no exceptions. That is how we stay fair in the observance and execution of those Rules & Regulations
I sincerely hope our response reasonably explains why we will not refund Mr*** the $he believes he is entitled to for his son’s car being towed
