On the website for The Reserve at Stonegate apartments, under the "Tour" tab, it clearly states that "each bedroom includes its own walk-in closet and full bathroom." This is again confirmed in a diagram of the apartment and on the rental application. However, my bedroom does not include a walk-in closet. After speaking with other tenants it has become apparent that each bedroom with the air return unit in the closet does not have a walk-in closet.
I have tried to upload a picture of my closet, but am unable to. The rental application and diagrams are currently available on the website.
Billing Adjustment I would appreciate a $25 reduction in monthly rent for the remainder of my lease simply because I am currently paying the same price as other tenants for less space. The website, diagram, and rental application should not have advertised each bedroom would have a walk-in closet if that were not true.
We have accommodated the tenant by adding storage to her closet & bathroom. In response to her rent reduction, all tenants are bound to the same rent rates, per their lease. Lease does not specify size of closet. See attached. Tenant was offered an opportunity to move to a different unit, but declined the offer by stating she was satisfied with current unit. See attached email.
