I have tried many times to resolve this issue with ***
We had agreed to meet on July 18th after *** had picked up his new resumeI had told him I had his money and would need to see the new resumeOn the 18th I waited to hear from ***, regularly checking my emails and phone until late that eveningHe did not communicate with meI assumed that was the end of ***'s problem with meWhen I heard from him the next week I asked him to email me his new resume and I would mail or deliver a cheque to his Edmonton addressI have asked him many times to email me his resume and he will not
When he showed me a position he wanted to apply for in Fort St John, I told him the application requested a cover letter to accompany his resumeI neglected to tell him a priceWe discussed the position, the requirements and how I could best target himI wrote him a cover letter
I believe now that *** thought I would be doing all this for up to $We met timesI gave him advice on what information I considered important for him to include in his resume so he would be successful over other applicants
On July 14th, our third meeting, *** reviewed his resume and cover letterThis meeting took minutes*** made changes to his resume and cover letter which I was prepared to makeHowever, he gave me extra information to add to his resumeI had presented a page resume to himWith the additional information he gave me, I knew I had more work to do to still give him a two page resumeAt this stage I didn't know if I had to reorganize his resume, reformat his resume, prepare a separate reference page, etcI had expected I would finalize ***'s file later that day and email him the final copies that evening, well ahead of his expected departure date for Fort St ***
At the close of our third meeting, *** was unhappy with the added cost and told me he would just finish his resume himselfHe seemed very confident he could do the changes, so I emailed my resume to him
It turned out *** was not able to finish his resume and found another company to work withWhen he told me, I apologized for my neglect in not informing him of the additional cost and said we could work things outIf he had agreed, he would have had his resume, references and cover letter finalized that evening
As to ***'s written complaint to the Revdex.com, my comments are:
When I saw ***'s old resume I would not, or could not have, given him a firm costI told him he needed a completely new resume; not an updateAt that stage I would not know if I would write a one or two page resumeAlso, when I saw the job posting he wanted to apply for, it required a cover letterRegretfully, I did not keep *** updated on the possible costAlso, he gave me additional information at our 3rd meeting, which meant further unexpected time on his file
***As to his complaints of my work, I am very perplexedI cannot think of a job category I have not written a resume forMy clients include CEOs, CFOs, COOs, PhDs, lawyers, doctors, elected members of the three government levels, as well as many clients in the heavy equipment construction industry, including owners

If *** had told me which font he wanted, I would have happily obligedI have never had a client want a font changed
I have never missed a client deadline***
*** informed me he is now working in Alberta*** If he didn't need the letter, I would have reduced the cost
I look forward to a meeting with the Revdex.com and to have this matter resolvedAnd, I repeat, I will bring ***'s money with me
