Unfair treatment from apartment complex. Harassment, along with there being a dog bit that occurred.
To whom it may concern,
I have just finished helping my girlfriend treat her bite wound from the residents dog that occurred today 2/16/2018. The neighbor above me has two dogs, she lets them out to use the bathroom without leashes on them often this is how my girlfriend ended up getting bit by one of her dogs. After getting bit by one of the dogs the dog followed her into the common area of the apartment and my neighbor stood outside the door to the common area witnessed the dog come inside and did nothing. She did not apologize nor address this situation. Also, about a month ago I was called to the main office to discuss parking and my dog. Once again the same neighbor made a complaint saying that my dog is vicious which is mind boggling seeing as how her dog is the one that attacked my girlfriend. That same day after being questioned about my ESA I was asked by management what my disability was. Which I believe was extremely inappropriate and rude. I believe those with a disability should be the ones to decide if they want to disclose that type of information since it is their lives. This same day I was addressed about my parking - a photo was taken of my car and also the car of my neighbors. I was completely in my parking spot but might have been a little close to the line but I most definitely was not over the line. After meeting with management a newsletter was sent out regarding parking. Another thing I was questioned about was if my girlfriend had moved on. I am not sure if this was a complaint that arose by my neighbor but I indeed told management that my girlfriend has not moved in. She actually has a home of her own but she is in fact pregnant and comes over from time to time due to her being high risk. One more thing I have had several knocks well more like banging on my door at 2-3 o'clock in the morning and also people walking around the bushes staring inside my living room window. The living arrangements here are starting to become unbearable. I feel unsafe for any guest I may invite over. I also have to double and triple check my parking so there are no more complaints that can be made. I feel I am currently having to walk on eggshells around here and it is very stressful. Hopefully a decision can be made regarding my situation or that I can be given options to feel at ease.
I would like to be release from my lease without any hits on my credit or rental history.
concerning this complaint: I have contacted the neighbor this person is referring to and she said her dog did not bite his girlfriend. I asked him if his girlfriend went to the doctor and he did not reply. We did not ask about his disability, we would not do that! The parking issue, he said he would park closer to the inside of his space. We did not take a picture of his car the resident he is referring to did and sent to us. His neighbor did say his dog barks a lot and we did ask him about that and he mentioned playing soft music to help with this. He mentioned his girlfriend and they would need a 2 bedroom apartment so I did ask if she had moved in. Concerning people knocking on his door at 2 or 3 in the morning or someone looking in the window, he would need to call the police. We have had no other complaints concerning this. Police do patrol The Ridges but they would need to be called out for these instances. I do not want him to feel uncomfortable here and I have told both of these residents I will be glad to discuss any issues with them in my office.

This does not seem to be any form of progress . Every tenant in this building has a dog that barks but yet again I am being singled out for my dog who does not leave her mess in front of people's cars or bite peoples guests.
Any dog would bark when there's people who peer in your window , other dogs barking in the building and any other things that make a normal dog bark this is not excessive behavior from my dog.
I am open to moving to another building but I would prefer just being freed out of my lease here to pursue better options
Resident and I both agreed that the best solution for him was to move out.
