ID # [redacted] Mrs [redacted] came to our store during a Sidewalk Sale At checkout, she was asked if she would like to try the items on b/c all items purchased at the Sidewalk Sale were "No Return/No Exchange" items b/c they were 50-75% off She said that she liked the items & could tell they would fit She returned the next week & told us she would like to return all items she purchased We reminded her that the Sidewalk Sale items were "No Return/No Exchange" items She got upset & said, "Let me tell you how this works I'm leaving the items here & I will just call my visa company & tell them that I don't have the items in my possession & that you have themThey will give me my money back." She tossed the items on the counter & left It was obvious that she has done this before because she knew exactly how the process worked weeks ago I got an email from her visa company telling me that she had disputed the chargesI called & spoke to them & then followed up with an email to them explaining what happened After speaking to them, it didn't sound like they would not be giving her the refund b/c we had signs posted that said the sales were Final, we gave her a verbal reminder at checkout & we also have this policy stated on our websiteI am waiting to hear from them on a final decision I was surprised to see that when she filed the complaint with you she only listed one item on the complaint background because she actually left all items with us and that is what she is asking her visa company to refund the money on- almost $ I'm asking you to not substantiate this complaint We have done nothing wrong We simply have a return policy and are standing by it If you substantiate this complaint, it will give people like Mrs [redacted] even more reason to continue trying to bully small businesses & it gives the small businesses nothing to stand onPlease call me or email me if I can further explain what happened or if you have any questions Thank you, [redacted] , Owner

I am rejecting this response because: Unfortuntley Cohrtney [redacted], the owner of The  Ritzy Gypsy, has either been given incorrect information or has decided to not tell the truth. She has not ever been at the business either time I have been there. On the original day I purchased the merchandise, there was a sale going on but there were NO signs any where stating that the business did not exchange or refund items that were purchased nor was I informed of that policy!  I also was not offered an opportunity to try on any clothing items. As a matter of fact, I was even left alone inside the store while the only clerk went to carry out the garbage. I waited to pay for the items until she came back inside the store. The entire business is run very unprofessionally in my opinion and I was a small business owner myself for seventeen years. [redacted] stated in her response that I left all four items that I purchased in the store when I came to return the one item but that is not the case at all. I have worn two of the items and the other item is a gift and is wrapped and under my Christmas tree at this very moment. I only wanted to return/ exchange one item and I only left one item at her store. Contrary to her allegations, I have NEVER disputed any charges on a credit card nor have I filed a complaint on a business with this department.  She also mentions rules that are stated on her "online" business  website which I have never been on and knew nothing about.  I have attached a copy of my receipt where it clearly states they are happy to exchange items within 30 days but I have no intention of spending any more money in this business after the unfair way I have been treated. At this point, I am still requesting a refund for the $12 item plus my tax. Thank you.
