And I personally handed my receipt with the $cash tip to the waiter inside the black billfold so I knew he received it! Why would the restaurant report no tip? And that seems like criminal activity for the waiter to decide to just take it upon himself to add a tip!!!! What in the world!!?? Totally unacceptable because my receipt had a "0" filled in on the tip line and the balance was carried down with no change in the figure!!! 2) whoever from the restaurant called me and left messages did not talk clearly enough for me to understand his name Regards, [redacted] ***

I thanked them for the appropriate refund. But they need to recognize two important things: 1) I left $10 cash as my tip that night, my guest with me can testify to that. We attempted to call our guest from compliant ID [redacted]. She would not return our call. We do not make it a practice to make any refunds unless we speak to the guest first. We always appreciate the opportunity to listen what the gust has to say so we may make the decision on how to...

resolve. Our investigation found in this case  that this guest had dinner with another guest and the split their tabs evenly. One guest left a tip on their credit card and the other did not. Our staff made the mistake of adding the tip to the wrong credit card at closing the check. We did however refund this guest even though we could not reach her via telephone. This refund was made over 10 business days ago. We were hoping to explain this to Ms. [redacted] but we did not get a chance top. We consider this issue resolved.
