I am rejecting this response because: vendor cancelled event with prior approvalCancellation was discussed but we, as the client, did not notify vendor to cancelOnly requested the cancellation policy to review when the vendor recommended we cancel because the vendor was not happy when they were called out for having horrible communication skills and for not providing transparency in their pricing

Please be advised the client has received detailed information regarding their contract with our venue.They changed their wedding dated with us due to the groom being deployed.Our contract reads that dates and payments are non transferrable but due to the circumstances we agreed to move to a date when the groom would be backWe required the 1/deposit be paid months prior to the original date of the wedding and the balance paid by the original date This money would be applied to their new wedding date when the groom returned from deployment.The bride and groom had the money but choose to use it on other things before the groom was deployed We agreed to receive payments of $per month of which we have only received one payment and then were told they were cancelling with us.Based upon their contract and their new decision Payments are non refundable.Please advise if you have additional questions.Thank you,

I am rejecting this response because:the business did not disclose additional hidden charges and fees despite effort on our part to reach out and clarify any extra charges and fees before signing the contractThe contract was extremely short and lacked detailAfter signing the contract did they inform us that there would be extra charges and we feel they purposely omitted or withheld information till after we made a deposit to get more money out of usCommunication with the business by phone and email was atrocious on the business's endHorrible at communicating, answering questions and following up with our inquiries and messagesIf you read their reviews on Yelp, google and on other websites there is a clear history and pattern of doing this to other clientsIf they won't return our deposit, I'm not surprisedThey only care about moneyBut they should definitely be labeled by the Revdex.com as a bad business in order to protect consumers from having their weddings and events ruined by these uncaring, greedy peopleThe owner *** *** and all his other businesses should also be branded as well due to his enormous lack of integrity as a person and as a owner/operator

I am rejecting this response because:we did not cancel the eventThe vendor recommended we cancel because they were unhappy that we expressed our grievances on their lack of communication and transparencyThey said if we cancel they will refund our deposit so we asked for a
copy of the cancellation policy to discuss as a family how to proceedWhen we called back immediately to ask another question the person we spoke to left for the day and we had to call back another dayWhen we did the coordinator said our event was already cancelled even though we never gave them the OKWe asked for our deposit back and they refused even though they offered it the previous dayLater we tracked down the owner who also refused to refund usThey cancelled our event on us without our agreement

move to a date when the groom would be back. We required the 1/2 deposit be paid 6 months prior to the original date of the wedding and the balance paid by the original date.  This money would be applied to their new wedding date when the groom returned from deployment.The bride and groom had the money but choose to use it on other things before the groom was deployed.  We agreed to receive payments of $500.00 per month of which we have only received one payment and then were told they were cancelling with us.Based upon their contract and their new decision.  Payments are non refundable.Please advise if you have additional questions.Thank you,
