My response to Mr [redacted] is this, half truths are nothing but lies Every time I hear your story you leave out the part where you go up on the roof after I've left for the day and tamper with You pried shingles up when they were stiff and cold and tore them away from the nails so you could caulk under them You pushed the shingles back in place and now you're blaming me At least the insurance agents got to see the roof before you had it replaced Speaking of which, Edgar, the gentleman that replaced your roof used to work for me at Valley County Roofing His brother, Jose was working for me first and I helped Jose bring Edgar up here so he came to work for me I taught him how to roof

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The roof was leaking during the process of roof installationThe Ice and Water Shield was not installed correctly according to manufacturer specificationsIt rained during the process of installation and the roof leaked, after the ice and water shield was completely installed, and only a small amount of shingles had been installedIf the Ice and Water Shield had been installed correctly no leaking would have occurred at that timeLeaking was apparent all around the roof during that rain eventLeakage continued through the remaining installation period and through the fall and winter monthsThe roofer also failed to install the ridge vent according to manufacturer specifications, which had to be removedThe roofer failed to install all of the proper materials that were agreed to according to the contractThere are several reasons why this roof leaked during the process of installation and afterI have written documentation from a roofer and product representatives that state how the materials were supposed to be installed correctly and/or the work completed was not done correctly by the rooferAny repair work that was completed after the roof installation was finished was done to stop the leaking that had already been occurring and the roofer was not being responsive to doingWhen the roofer finally attempted to make repairs it was long after the time he had been notified about the leaking and all the repair attempts only made the situation worse? ? ? ? Sincerely, [redacted]

Hello [redacted], We have received your email concerning your final move outcharges. I have looked into your concerns and would like to address each onewith you. First, I do apologize that you both felt as if you were denied afinal move out inspection. As per the lease, you are always entitled to...

a finalmove out inspection although it is not a requirement to be there. Ourmaintenance supervisor is the one who completes all of the final walkthroughsas he is trained in estimating final cost if there are any. It sounds from yourexperience as if [redacted] was assuming that there wouldn’t be any final chargesbased off any information she may have received. Secondly, I did look over yourmove in condition form that was submitted at move in. You had 3 separate itemslisted on the move in condition form and you did not list any carpet stains ordamage. That would indicate to us that the carpets were in great condition andwere free of defects and stains when you moved in. After you had turned in yourkeys and moved out, the apartment was walked by the maintenance supervisor andhe noted  carpet stains from foot traffic in the master bedroom and otherstains in the guest bedroom. We had our carpet company clean the carpets to seeif the stains would come up. After allowing the carpets to dry, the maintenancesupervisor did note that the stains were still present on the carpets and hetook pictures of the stains. I have attached the pictures for your reference. We then did have to replace both carpets. The charges were prorated to accountfor normal wear and tear. The expected “life” of carpets is 5 years. Becausethe carpets in the apartment were 3 years old, you were charged for the loss ofthe 2 years of the carpet life. I do hope this explains things a bit better foryou. As always, please feel free to reach out to us if you have any furtherquestions. Best regards,

My response to Mr. [redacted] is this, half truths are nothing but lies.  Every time I hear your story you leave out the part where you go up on the roof after I've left for the day and tamper with.  You pried shingles up when they were stiff and cold and tore them away from the nails so you...

could caulk under them.  You pushed the shingles back in place and now you're blaming me.  At least the insurance agents got to see the roof before you had it replaced.  Speaking of which, Edgar, the gentleman that replaced your roof used to work for me at Valley County Roofing.  His brother, Jose was working for me first and I helped Jose bring Edgar up here so he came to work for me.  I taught him how to roof.
