The Savoye Apartments

DO NOT LIVE HERE. Read the reviews and trust me. Everyone involved with the apartment and company from top to bottom is difficult to work with, does not honor written agreements, and does not perform maintenance on your home or around the community. On day 1 after you sign your lease agreement and they have your money, the service goes out the window. The apartment has had SO MUCH TURNOVER because everyone they bring in from UDR does a horrible job. They messed up my rent concession, my rental dates, promised to replace our malfunctioning washer/dryer for over 2 months and never did, then refused to honor their notice of intent to move out which they already approved and accepted. This company is known for penny pinching you at all costs when it comes to your security deposit so don't expect to get anything back there. They DO NOT clean anything for COVID-19 either.
DO NOT fall for their amenities - you will hate living here and it's not worth the cost. Trust the negative reviews and don't be tricked by the reviews of people who haven't lived here for at least a full year.

I applied for an apartment and paid the total $240 administrative and application fee. I was told that if approved, there wouldn't be any additional costs. I was told if I wasn't approved, I would be refunded. I got an email stating 'Approved with CONDITIONS'. The conditions were an additional $850 deposit. I stated that I wanted to be refunded the 160 that I was supposed to be refunded if not approved since they had covered up that there would be an additional deposit. Jason at savoye said I would be refunded and would get a confirmation email. I never got a confirmation email. I called Travis at UDR, inc who stated I would not be refunded at first. Then he called the director at the savoye and texted me that I would be refunded. I have text messages to prove this. I never got my $160 back.
