Mr. [redacted] did not "possibly" engage this office, he in fact did.  He paid $300 to start the process of settling his debts with the creditors.  Mr. [redacted] met with me on March 3, 2016.  In contrast to the representation of Mr. [redacted] that we never did anything, on March 15, 2016...

Mr. [redacted] sent me an E Mail with the credit report of his creditors we were to contact.  That was requested in the meeting on March 3 so we could know which creditors were to be contacted.  That E Mail is attached which also had the credit report as an attachment.  I reviewed the credit report and with the information in that credit report we prepared the list of the creditors which would be contacted, prepared a Power Of Attorney and a contact letter for the creditors advising them of our representation of Mr. [redacted]. Only after that did Mr. [redacted] contact me stating he needed the money and wanted to terminate services and get all of his money back.  Time and effort was expended on Mr. [redacted]'s behalf prior to his sending an E Mail.  Since work was performed on his behalf, a total refund is not justified when he changed his mind after work commenced.  We will forward to Mr. [redacted] $50.00 which represents, at best, the unused portion of the $300 he paid.
