To Whom It May Concern;Mr*** applied for an apartment at the Severna on K Apartments in November of Mr*** was denied eligibility due to being over the income limit allowed for our apartment homes as we participate in Government funded housingMr*** was contacted
regarding the denial and advised that he qualified for our Market Rate homes which he was not interested in paying the higher rateHe was informed that he could come and pick up his deposit at his earliest convenienceMr*** did not contact the office until mid January regarding the money orderUpon retrieving the file, it was noticed that the physical money order was not located inside, and all monies had been deposited into our bank We advised Mr*** that we may have erroneously applied the money to an account and that if he could provide the money order stub or receipt, we would gladly enter the serial number into the system and reverse the charge in order to cut him a checkMr*** became argumentative regarding providing the stub or receipt, Mr*** provided the original receipt that was given to him in November by the Property Manager at that time, and was advised that before a refund could be granted, we needed his assistance in providing the serial number.After escalation to our Corporate Offices, the accounting department cut Mr*** a check in the amount of $on February 11, check number ***Mr*** came into the office at SeVerna on K and signed for and received the refund check.Mr*** was given a verbal apology by myself as well as the Senior Property Manager April M***Please be assured that we did everything in our power to assist Mr*** in a professional manner and at no time called him a fraud in any regards.At this juncture, we have given him the settlement that he is requesting and are unsure as to why he is continuing with this matter,Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at ###-###-#### or by email at s***.Thank you in advance,
