There is nothing we can do. All the customers that purchase a Lexington Home know very well that their concrete and landscaping is NOT warrantied and these homeowners have signed off on their landscaping stating that all plants and trees were alive at the time of closing on their
home. We were very generous enough to replace the tree for free one time and there is definitely NOT a warranty on top of a generous non warranty. We are a professional landscaping company that has been planting trees for over years and we installed the trees according to how the nursery we purchase the trees from tell us to which is to cut the top of the burlap off and leave the burlap on the sides and bottom along with cutting off the top of the wired cage and leaving the bottom of the cage. There are many factors as to why the tree may have died twice. More times than not it's the homeowners fault. Watering the tree too much will drown and kill the tree which I am guessing is more than likely what happened. The homeowner has documentation upon closing for the home that their landscaping is not warrantied after their final walk thru upon closing. The homeowner can purchase a new tree if they wish to replace it otherwise there is nothing we can do because AGAIN there was zero warranty on their landscaping OR concrete upon closing on their home. I have considered this case closed and have a good day.Thanks!*** ***

Review: Sharper Edge completed a rock wall around my pond and built a waterfall. The second summer we had this done one end of the rock wall began to fall into the pond. Also, one drop of the waterfall is washing away the earth behind it. I called Sharper Edge on 7/9/12 to see if they would come out and fix it. [redacted] came and looked at the pond and said that they would fix it with no expense to me. Since that time I have called 13 times to get this work scheduled/completed. I was assured by [redacted] that he would get it done and he gave me his word and would follow through on this. I have yet to get the pond fixed. I called the owners son and the owner on 6/2/13 and 6/25/13 respectively and have yet to get a call. I simply want someone to return my call and follow through on fixing the issues as I was told they would.Desired Settlement: Fix the two issues that I brought to their attention to bring the pond back to the state it should be in based on the work that was initially done.

Review: On 5/17/12 we entered into an agreement to have the Sharper Edge repair our cool deck. Within two weeks of the final product it started peeling. We called to have it repaired again. It took 2-3 MONTHS for them to come back to repair it. In the meantime, one of the owners met my husband at the house to look at the cool deck. When the company finally came back out to repair it they only repaired parts of the cool deck not all of it. We then had to have them come out a third time that is when they repaired the entire deck. Four times in one summer they were at our house where we had to wait for hours for them. One of the scheduled appointments they didn't even show up after we waited 4 hours for them. Summer of 2013, we called in May because the paint was starting to peel again and a piece of the cement/mortar had fallen off. (I have pictures as well) As of today, June 24th they are here again. Approximately, 30 areas where the paint has peeled off again. The employees are putting paint on the areas with no preparation of the area. They are not doing any acid washing like they did the first two times.

My complaint is this: the product should have stayed on the first two times it was completed. My husband and I have had to stay home from work 4-5 times waiting for their 4 hour window to complete this project. One of the times they didn't even show up. There is a lack of respect and lack of quality product and workmanship because they don't seem to understand what an inconvenience this has been for us.Desired Settlement: Full refund in the amount of $410.63. I have the contractual agreement showing this exact amount.
